Very good box and serviceMy friend told me this box is great and I can stop paying expensive monthly rent every month. I chose to buy it and when I received this box, I also received an Amazon email from the seller that was the instruction manual for this box, which was a great thing for me and I am very happy with this service, which is what I needed. The box is currently working properly, I am very happy with it and I don't need to pay the monthly fee anymore, which is the best thing for me.

I was excited to see this newly released S4 Pro TV box as I've heard many great things about it. When I opened the box, there were no instructions showing how to set it up. Fortunately, I'm familiar with Android TV boxes, so this was not a problem for me. Initially, the TV box has no usable apps installed. Therefore, once the internet connection is established either through wired or wireless, the Blue TV and VOD apps need to be installed from its native App Store in order to take advantage of Live TV and VOD. Also, after signing into Google account, more apps can be installed on this TV box.In terms of performance, this "new" S4 Pro TV box is not any different from its predecessor, S3 Pro. The hardware remains unchanged, except the software got tweaked a little. First, the interface is redesigned. I really feel indifferent about it. Second, for Live TV, there's a small preview screen to the right. I think this is useful and modern. Third, for VOD, closed captions (English and Spanish), subtitle timing adjustable, playback speed adjustable, and aspect ratio adjustable are available. Unfortunately, I find subtitle and closed captions are not readily available on a lot of media. This is very disappointing to me. Perhaps, what frustrated me the most was the fact that movies kept freezing due to buffering issue. Sometimes, it got so unbearable, especially when watching action-packed movies, I just stopped watching. On the other hand, Live TV performs seamlessly and has not suffered catastrophic buffering issue to my surprise. There are tons of live TV channels in HD including ones from Canada and the Philippines. For sports fans, this TV box would be a dream come true as it has everything from the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, etc. Interestingly, I find Live TV is about a couple of minutes delayed. One thing I really hope for is that there'll be updates in the future to include more international channels like Chinese to better compete with some of the TV boxes out there. The best part about this TV box is that all of this access is free with just a one-time cost upfront. I think this is a great TV box for cord cutter, however the buffering issue really hampers movie-watching experience and enjoyment. I hope this issue will get fixed soon.

Love this Android box. System specs are decent, about middle of the road when it comes to Android boxes, has great included apps and 24/7 support makes it awesome. Love the included system cleanup tool to keep your system running great and the clock on the front is a great added touch. Only problem I have had so far is there are no included instructions and I had to go to YouTube to figure out how to set it up and how to pair the remote correctly so that you don't have to point it directly at the box and hold your tongue just right to get it to work.

I hooked it up and no problems with how it works I found a few YouTube videos that helped as the included directions were not that good. I had an Amazon fire stick and I found it does whatever I tried so far and I only paid around $35 for it. If this device can do more it didn’t tell me how so I’ll probably stick with my fire stick
