I think I’m in love….
The are by far the most comfortable shorts I have ever worn. I love these shorts. The waist band is secure but smooth, the pockets are big but not baggy, the fabric and stitching feels like Baleaf actually cares about quality…. which is saying something in the clothing industry.

Stretchy and comfortable
I'm no fitness guru--just an average guy looking for shorts I can hopefully ride my bike in and take off some of the pounds I managed to put on over winter. I'm 5'7 225 so was torn between the L and XL. I optimistically went with the L and they fit fine. They're definitely a tighter fit than the last few pairs I've purchased over the years. When I was looking before, everything seemed to be a basketball short style.... that hangs lower and has a taller rise in the crotch and felt baggy. These are a completely different style--in all the best ways. The 7" rise is definitely a plus for shorter guys like me. No need to roll the waistband over. The pockets are fine.... the side ones don't hold much--perhaps your room key for a hotel or cruise cabin but that's about it. I've been in IT for too many years and replaced enough screens that I'll never feel comfortable putting a phone in a back pocket. But if that's your thing, it's there and has a closing zipper. Personally, that's probably where I'd put my room/locker key so I didn't lose it.There's a lot of stretch in these, plenty of room to move. If you're a taller person, you might think they're a little short as they'd probably come down mid calf. But for those of us on the shorter side, it's nice to finally find shorts that don't hang down below my knees.

Excellent shorts!
The BALEAF Men's 7" Workout Shorts are outstanding running or workout shorts.I have other BALEAF running gear that I like very much as well, and these shorts reinforce that this seems to be a brand built on offering quality products! These are very nice shorts, which I use for running. The fabric is very soft and comfortable. It is almost 25% spandex, so it has a nice stretch to it. The fabric dries quickly. The shorts came with no loose threads and the stitching is tight. They seem to be very well made.I wear a size 32–34-inch pant, depending on brand and type, and the mediums fit me perfectly. They have two front pockets and a back side pocket with a zipper. There is a drawstring on the front inside of these shorts for a more custom fit. I find the elastic waistband a comfortable fit. They are very comfortable and are great for running, weightlifting, or pretty much any athletic activity. Though these are a bit pricier than what you may expect to pay for gym shorts, these are very nice and high quality. If these perform like my other BELEAF gear, then I will be using these for years. These are great shorts! I highly recommend!

Lightweight, Thin, & Stretchy, but Not Comfortable, and Fits Weird
These nylon shorts are extremely lightweight, thin, and stretchy.I ordered them in size medium, which fits my waist perfectly. I do not think they are slim as another reviewer suggested. The hips are MUCH wider than the waist and the hips also stretch more than the waist. In my measurements, (medium size short) the waist was about 32" around and the hips are about 46" around - so definitely wider in the hips and legs - not slim fit at all.The main issue is that I find the side pockets are positioned a little too far to the front. It's a little uncomfortable having them that far forward, maybe because that's not what I am used to. It just feels weird. But I'm sure the pockets are constructed that way because there's another almost-full-size mobile phone pocket on the side. The the cell phone pocket is a little too far back, and the regular pocket is too far forward. I'm not sure how to describe wearing these shorts other than they feel a little "off."They're not bad - but just a bit strange feeling. Also, sorry about the busy background in my image.

Great stretchiness, I can do all my stuff in these
The best thing about these is the flex/stretch: there is no resistance however far apart my legs get, meaning I can hike in these, as well as run, workout, etc. Many of my other dryfit gear doesn't have this much stretchiness and on a serious hike or at some points in a work out, they actually add to the difficulty and I can tire out more quickly (because I'm fighting against the shorts a little bit). I also really like the color, I needed something for running visibility, I feel better with these running along a road in cloudy weather over all my black gear. Deep pockets, lightweight, breathable, these may be my new favorite workout shorts.

Comfortable but not perfect
The first thing I noticed about these was the waistband which is not gathered but rather flat. I found it odd at first but then it was a comfortable fit and the fabric cover is stretchy, so it all works (and there is a drawstring as well). In fact the shorts themselves are stretchy. They fit a little on the loose side in the waist for me - I'm in between sizes so I opted to go larger since that's usually the safe bet with online clothes shopping, but could have gone with my normal size and been fine. The drawstring works just fine so it's all good. The legs do tend to ride up when I'm doing leg work so I find myself tugging them back down in between sets. My quads are pretty muscular so it might not be a problem if you have smaller thighs. The pockets are fairly small except the zipper pocket which can fit my phone. Funny thing is I have to use two hands to operate the zipper or I end up pulling the shorts around sideways lol.All that aside (those are small things), I like these. They're comfortable and lightweight. Enjoy wearing them for my workouts and will definitely be good when the weather gets warmer

Perfect for the gym
With the current coupon these shorts are less than $30 which makes them reasonably priced. I like the material (Nylon/Spandex) and three pockets, one with a zipper. They feel good, look nice and dry quickly.
