It does save the bananas from getting over ripe

Cheap effective in protecting bananas getting smashed, difficult to open
The title says it all.Even after putting couple pieces of tape along the clam shell design edges and making it less hurtful to open, still have to watch out on the fingers.Also larger size bananas will not fit.

Great product for the price
I was looking for something to hold and keep my kiddos bananas from cruising in browning and this definitely worked. I did have to remove a few of the clips for my toddler as he couldn’t open it on his own.

Might work on smaller banana variety, but useless for the ones available near me.

Did not fit
I held onto if for a couple weeks but I never had a banana that would fit right in this unfortunately and had to return it.
