TOPEX35D960 T10 - T50 CV Torx-Key Set (9-Piece)

Special tools sometimes needed and value for money.

We bought these because we had no other choice (something we were trying to fix had these style screws in).I wasn't willing to pay huge sums for something I may only use once, but didn't know what size I needed, so these seemed the best option.They come in a little black holder much like allen keys, and have 9 different sizes.Each one has the star head on both sides meaning you can have a little or a lot of leverage depending on what you need.These will now live in the tool box until we need them again. And if we don't then they were good value for the one job anyway.

Nice set, shame they fit so loosely in the otherwise nicely designed carrier.They fit so loosely in the carrier as to more or less render it useless, as they are not retained even a little bit, It really is disappointing, I know I s not really a functioning part of the toolset, but if it doesn’t serve to retain the individual wrench’s then they are likely to be lost or at a he very least cause you to search around in the depths of your tool box every time you want to use one.Ok whinge over, they are individually marked with size and the legend CR-V which I presume indicates Chrome Vanadium, so they should be hard wearing, so in short if you want a reasonably priced set of torx wrenches, (and these are very reasonably priced), and are not bothered about the big shortcomings of the wrench carrier, then buy them you won’t be disappointed.

I have a renault Clio from 2010 and unfortunately I had an indicator light that wouldn’t work. I was thinking of taking it to the garage until I used the ubiquitous google. It said that it was a simple problem to solve, but I would need a Torx key size 10. I went to my friendly, neighbourhood Amazon and they suggested these. They worked perfectly and so did my nervous D.I.Y! The set are tough and reliable. My screws were difficult to get out; as it’s an old car and time had not been kind. It was well packaged and arrived on time.

I am not someone who needs torx keys usually but I was recently replacing a part in my car door mirror and couldnt do it because the manufacturere had used these crazy star shape allen bolts. I found a couple in my tool box but needed something extra small. These did the trick anmd they were cheap enough for me not to worry about how many more times I will use them. They worked without sheering as expected. Delivery was as stated. No complaints.

Not great not terrible. The fit isn’t perfect on these torx key so there is some slack when you use them - as testified by the 50 shearing teeth the first time I used it. If you sell a 50 size it’s going to be used in bigger scenarios where strength is needed and these don’t have it. Having said that the 30 and 40 both worked well in lighter duty situations

I could not remove the 4 T30 screws on my BMW bulkhead,even with a dedicated T30 screwdriver I bought from my local car spares shop.It just did not have enough leverage,so I saw these Offset Topex 9 piece set advertised on Amazon at a very good price,and decided to try them.Alas after lining it up properly and using my other hand to turn the screw anti clockwise bit by bit,it became loose enough to undo with the dedicated screwdriver.Brilliant.This saved me a fair bit of money on what the garage would have charged me,as the job went smoothly after this.Well worth it.

These have been invaluable to fixing my Volvo 850 as many of the fixings are torx heads, so when I needed to do the handbrake (a T50 socket in the centre console) and only had a few days to do it, the fast shipping was a lifesaver. They do rattle a little in their case, but then don't drive around with them in your glovebox.
