This is an extra four feet of the main cable between the under hood relay and fuse box and the inside vehicle controller. Two of the three installs of these auxbeam required this meaning I think they know the stock 9' is just a bit short for most well done routing.Still, using this extension is better than spending one's valuable time cutting and splicing the regular cable. So I can recommend this.

This 20ft signal wire worked out great in my '14 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I needed the extra length from the very top of the driver's side sun visor, down the driver's side A-pillar, below the steering column, through the center console, through the passenger's side firewall, and up the engine bay near the passenger's side shock tower when my Auxbeam BA80 fuse box is located.I initially ordered the other Auxbeam 3.94ft signal wire extension, but returned that because it was short for my particular application. With this 20ft extension I still have some slack in case I want to relocate my switch panel.

Great product. Well worth the price. It surpasses all the other switches that sell for hundreds of dollars the hardest part of installing was routing the cable through the firewall other than that it was a breeze
