I was really surprised by the quality of the clippers and trimmer. Basically professional-grade, they don't look or feel cheap at all. Well, the plastic comb guards aren't QUITE on the same level as brand-name Wahl ones. But the actual clippers and their blades are top-notch and perform great.The most incredible thing about these is the battery life. I've had these things for over 3 months now, use them every weekend, and still haven't gone below 50% battery life on either one yet! I actually had to plug them in and charge them for the first time before writing this review, just to make sure there wouldn't be any surprise problems with the charging. Otherwise, I probably would have gone a few more months on the original charge from the factory.Personally, I like that these units charge with USB cables. However, there are two caveats that you should know about. First, this set only comes with the cables, not a charger. Sadly, that's pretty much standard for all USB stuff these days. Secondly, while it's USB on the end that plugs into the charger, the cable has a proprietary connector on the end that plugs into the clippers. So, you can't use your own normal USB cables, as you can with other clippers that use USB on both ends. However, the set does come with two cables, even though both the clipper and trimmer use the exact same plug, so you're basically getting a backup cable.The most important warning I can give is that THE PLASTIC COMB GUARDS FOR THESE CLIPPERS ARE NON-STANDARD, compared to every other pair of clippers I've ever seen before. Normally, the comb numbers represent eights of an inch (e.g. a #1 comb is 1/8 in, a #8 comb is a one full inch, etc). However, these combs are offset by two sizes. That is, if you're accustomed to using a #2 comb, then you use a #4 comb here. A standard #3 comb is actually a #5 comb with this set, etc. I wasn't paying close attention, and my first cut was WAY shorter than I was expecting! That was frustrating, but now I know.Despite being a little flimsy feeling, and having the weird size offsets, the combs that come with this set are perfectly usable as-is. However, a cool thing is that these clippers fit brand-name Wahl combs guards just fine. So, I salvaged the combs from my old worn-out Wahl clippers and are just using them instead now.Overall, there are a couple of quirks to keep in mind, but this is still an outstanding clippers and trimmer set. You get both units for around the same price that Wahl charges for clippers alone. And while the comb guards aren't quite as good as Wahl's, the actual units themselves feel like much higher quality than what Wahl sells in this range. Recommended.

Works great! The full size clippers are hefty enough to feel premium, while still light enough to maneuver. Do wish the smaller one was metal too but as a travel item it's absolutely perfect!I use the big clippers to trim my beard + the small ones are perfect for doing touch up work. Both are very powerful and feel great in the hand + using. There's many different blade guards for each included, and the big ones are labeled in both inches and mm. The big clippers also contain a plastic cover guard for storage. The box has two usb charger cables (no blocks but you have some laying around), a cape for cutting hair, and a bag for everything. I went with the black set and they're very sleek and modern.Can't yet say about sharpness in the long term but out of the box the blades are super sharp! Nice, clean cuts with no snags. Overall, highly recommend!

I was attracted to this set of clippers because the package does not cost a lot, and bonus points for WAHL attachment compatibility. Over the decades, I've bought and worn out a handful of clippers, and you end up with lots of leftover accessories. Glad I could continue using my stockpile of clipper guides.With my undying love for flat caps, it's just easier to buzz cut, wait a few weeks, and repeat. I used to rely upon handheld, rechargeable clippers these past few years, but they just kept breaking down, in my opinion, prematurely. I got tired of that, and so did everyone else, apparently, as I couldn't even re-order them anymore.When I sought a replacement, these came up... and, the rest is history.It remains to be seen how long these will last. However, both clippers were quiet and effective. I'd imagine the main clippers would also be great for kids that hate noisy motors. I have dense hair and didn't have any issues with snagging.
