The weakest of the Memoir44 expansions, but still worth having.
I love Memoir44 with a passion and have already played through all the core game and Pacific expansion scenarios and I have to say as much as I love the game Richard Borg seems to have a bit of an axe to grind against the British. Having played this on both sides with numerous people, apart from one scenario, the Brits always have a disadvantage due to their national characteristics rules which don't really offer any useful game mechanic and their awful tanks..Now I know we can start arguing about the effectiveness of British armour in North Africa, however Mr Borg decided not to reflect the massive short comings of American armour when pitted against far superior German armour in Northern Europe. So I don't understand why he chose to start doing it here. I actually applauded his efforts in the base game for keeping it even, as it made for a better game. That aside. The game itself is still great game and much fun has been had with it. While myself and my opponent felt that the Brits seemed to have the rougher deal in most of the scenarios, they were all still a real blast to play. This is the only reason I'd give it 4 rather than 5 stars as having played the amazing Pacific battles which do a great job of making the different factions feel very different. With the Pacific you feel your opponent is stronger until you swap sides. Then you realise you feel the same. With this expansion however you feel you are weaker with one side, swap and that feeling was confirmed.Still buy it, suck it up and try to win.

The British Forces Expansion
Seller delivered on time and with item well packaged - the expansion for Memoir 44 adds British desert forces to your games - tan coloured troops - tanks and artillery units similar in number to the core box but modelled on British unit designs. Ideally you will enjoy adding the desert board expansion and terrain pack to get better value from this expansion overall - several might be needed if you plan to play breakthrough maps or the DDay expansion set, but this is enough for one player on a standard or overlord style set up. Also included is British commonwealth rules and additional tokens.

Five Stars
A good generally cheap expansion for Memoir 44. Adds a bit more detail to a simple game.

Great game, sent really quickly
Great game, sent really quickly, recommended seller and game. Game can take only an hour (unlike Axsis and Allies) and suitable for ages from 9-10 upwards.

Another good add on to the original game
The best thing about Memoir'44 Mediterranean Theater is it plays different from the original. In this respect it is on par with the Pacific Expansion.Terrain is more sparse and fields more open so quite like in the real Desert War the tank is now King but not all dominant since now infantry is bolstered with Anti-Tank weapons. The game has plenty of historical scenarios and I was glad that they were so many and not a single multiplayer which I never play anyway. It is incorrectly labled Mediterranean and should be Western Desert or North Africa since the focus of the scenarios is the running desert battles before El Alamein. Two new factions, British and Italian with nice special rules that add a little flavor without any major change to the game. All in all a successful addition to a good game.PS: Recommend you buy the Desert Board/Snow Board to go with the game, they are Desert Battles after all.
