I was really excited for this unit because it was the only one I could find that had an app as an option. However, I cannot get this thing to connect to the wi-fi no matter what I do. I've reset everything a million times. The device is supposed to beep twice when you hold the wi-fi button down, but it only beeps once. but, it's still very sleek looking, it has a constant drainage hole + the filter is ABOVE the hose connector so I don't have to disconnect it in order to clean it because that thing was super difficult to get in the first time! and it's very compact. I live in a studio so I was trying to get the slimmest one I could find. and the child lock?! yes!!!!!! super yes!!!! I have a cat and he loved to jump on my old unit and press all the buttons with his toes, so the child lock really won it over for me.

I can't fit a window unit in my room, but since I work from home, I need something to keep my room cool. This fits the bill, although on the days when the outside temp reaches the upper 80s, my room doesn't get lower than about 78 or 79, still much better. I love the sleep function, though I wish it switched to the fan instead of off. I like being able to turn it on from the app when I'm out so it's cool when I get back. Fan works well. It's as loud as a normal window AC. On hot/humid days, I empty it once a day, otherwise every other. Overall, quite happy with it.

Would have given this five stars had the set up instructions actually included all of the steps instead of assuming people would just know how to put together the window adapter kit. Didn’t mention the two screws in the kit or how to use. Once I figured that out and got the unit working it has been great.

Can't keep A/C level. Condensation tank leaks bottom A/C. Simple fix put spacer under front wheels so Condensation drains into 5 gal. Bucket. Unit keeps leaking water condenser & bottom of unit right side other wise works. Not happy. Now I need to by a condensation tray & drain hose. May have been damaged on delivery by Fed Ex throwing item around.

It was hard for me to find the answer when i looked but this unit will turn itself on and off when the thermostat is set.This is a great feature on such a well priced unit

My only issue is that if your not able to install a way for the drain line to go outside, it produces a lot of water to which you will have to find a way( I am using a 5 gallon bucket I have to empty out every 6-7 hours.

I did not read anything about manually draining a reserve tank once it fills with water in the description. And you can't see the reserve tank filling. The tube is skinny you are suppose to attach on the bottom, but drain it into what?? It's on the floor! So I will have to leave the tube on and somehow drain it to a bucket? raise the unit up on something? Find a tube that will reach the window? Dumb design. Now I see why some units have 2 vents going out the window. The reserve hasn't filled yet so I don't know if the tube leaks while draining. This unit gives out decent heat if I turn it up to 84. I haven't tried the a/c yet. Not warm enough out yet. We will see. The instructions are useless. I'm 61 and set this up myself.

I really love this AC unit; we have weirdly sized windows and not all of them open, so this thing is perfect. We just put the drainage tube in the window instead of trying to fit the whole thing in there and it works really well.
