Not sticky enough... Don't work
The media could not be loaded. Update: these are not sticky enough for rats. Keep finding them dragged off and obviously interacted with.. but no rat. Boo! Sad face 😠 They're easy to assemble, just separate the purple sticky pads from each other. And attach the little tunnel cover. The tunnel covers are reusable. So after you catch one rat you can dispose of the purple sticky pad and use use another one with the same black tunnel top.

super trap - caught 2 on 1 trap
lol yuck on taking a picture of the used tomcat advanced trap but i will work on it and update it later. i dont really want a pic of that but i see it will be helpful here for proof since there is only one review so far and mine is the second. Anyway, i am super happy I found these. I hate mice and having to deal with trapping them. Poison cubes just leaves dead mice who knows where. I put the very thick glue board type in the crawl space where i can just fold it up and toss it out and not worry about it sticking anywhere else. These Tomcat advanced super traps you have to do a little more viewing and be careful about the still exposed glue areas.I had to put traps in the garage now! the garage is attached and insulated but not heated and located in lower area of the lower peninsula of MI. I was using a thin paper rectangle tunnel type, until i saw it half way across the garage floor with paper piece trails and no mouse inside. In the garage I needed a cover on it due to all the random debris than can be around. In addition to not wanting to see all of it and my brothers dog that visits. Certainly it is not fully pet friendly if you have a nosey dog that can sticks its nose inside but it is much better than a fully open thick cardboard trap. also i wanted a heavier trap the mouse could not carry across the room and less chew proof.these tomcat advanced traps came .I put peanut butter in the middle it is very easy to put these together. The sticky traps come sandwiched on top of each other sticky side in. when separating you do get a little glue string so i twist it. One side of the tunnel has two holes and the other side has two pegs as does the glue tray bottom. when combining them to put them together you just more or less line up the tunnel with the side that has the holes onto the glue trap side that has the pegs and push the top on and it connects right in place. than place. i still can grab the top when together to place them and the bottoms stays connected to the top. The plastic tunnel top weighs 3.2 ounces and bottom advanced glue tray weighs 2.6 ounces (without the peanut butter on it). I did take a few pictures pre-mouse catching without the yuck, lol. there is a pic of taking the trays apart, an already set up tray with peanut butter on it, the underside of the tunnel, and a storage pic of a single tray. i ran into a conundrum (why the 4 star rating for ease of use) after one trap caught the mice i had to put out another. The issue is that since the glue traps come sandwiched together what do you do when you only need to put out to store the other one for later use since once separated from the other is becomes a sticky magnet. Well i save stuff lol and i had a plastic container from a one pound organic spinach tub along with the lid. the glue tray fit perfectly inside so i stored it in there.I still had a paper rectangle trap and I dont like to waste so i put it out with these tomcats. sure enough i checked the traps today. the paper one had the peanut butter gone and dark spot where it looked like the mouse was there but got unstuck and also ate some of the paper on the outer edge i dont think that had anything to do with it escaping though, more like inferior glue. i check the tomcat advanced traps next and eureka! and yuck!! there was two mice in one trap and the peanut butter was untouched. one mouse was even on the very edge with its head sticking out. lol he must have wanted to be with his buddy who was further in but not all the way in the center buy the peanut butter. i go to disconnect the plastic tunnel and since the yucky mice were sticking out on one and not wanting to be near that at all i used held the bottom glue tray down on the empty side and lifted the tunnel up on the inside pulling up and it came off with ease. then i used the paper useless trap and covered up the dead mice, yuck, and put it in a trash bag. then even thought the mice were dead i used a rubber mallet and pounded them just to make sure! then put it in another garbage bag. then i put out more traps, got on amazon wrote this review, and ordered more traps. I was looking to order just the bottom advanced glue tray but did not see them anywhere. thus, i sent and email in inquiring about them to tomcat. no reply yet. the stickiness of the trap and resistance to colder weather due to the advanced glue seems to be a vital part besides the heavier plastic bottom and vital plastic cover!needless to say i highly recommend these and am thankful for them and will always be using these!update: I did receive an email back from tomcat and they do not just sell the advanced glue bottom by itself. unfortunately most companies would rather make money than care for the planet. Plus I do not understand logically since this seems to be the best glue compared to the other stand alone trays they have, why wouldnt they want all the glue boards to have the "advanced" glue on them!
