I like the quality of the bag but I was disappointed that it sold as a 12 pack and I only received 8. After making contact with Amazon I will be receiving the rest. Love it

These bags look nice and are a decent size. The paper is plain-faced and very thick and sturdy, which should make them more reusable and possibly recyclable. They are folded over at the top which makes them less likely to tear, and they have removable ribbon handles with metal fasteners. The ribbon is thin and easily creased. Most of the ribbon handles in my package have permanent wrinkles, which detracts from the quality and appearance. The color of the bags is pretty dark for kraft paper, but not vibrant, and it's a bit inconsistent in that there are a few lighter spots and some dark spots. They are a nice basic bag for decorating with paper or stickers. I don't want to test them to find out, but they look like they might discolor or stain if they get wet, so to be safe I would plan to line the contents with tissue paper.

These bags are a navy blue color that is so pretty; my pictures are not able to do the color of it justice. They are sturdy in the inside as they have a reinforced bottom. I added a picture of it next to a jigsaw puzzle so you can see the approximate size of what it would look like in person. It is a large bag, and you can add quite a few items to it. I feel the handles need a little bit of work from the inside. They don't come out at first because they make sort of a t-shape when you put them in the hole. However, I am afraid if you added too much weight to one of the bags that the handles may come out of the holes. You will want to create a knot with the handles from the inside to keep it a bit sturdier. I wish the handles were thicker and easier to grab. As of the date I am posting this review, I will say that this listing's pics show you can use this to store food or use while in a grocery store. I would absolutely not trying do that because the material is not like a tote bag. You don't want this material getting wet (from something like groceries) because it would damage the bag. I recommend you use this bag primarily as a gift bag.

The quality of these gift bags was nice…. Like the ribbon handles. They were crisp and nice looking. The size was perfect for the shirts I was gifting….

This is a set of 12 navy blue gift bags with ribbon handles. The paper used is heavy and of good quality. The ribbon handles are nice and comfortable in your grasp. These are nicely made bags and are very sturdy. As with all ribbon handle bags, I have the same issue. The aglet at the ends of the ribbon can easily come through the hole. So you will need to do one or both of these...make sure the aglet is turned sideways or tape it in place.Aside from the aglet, great bags.
