Purchased this Fluke 87 LCD replacement display kit because I have cleaned the display as others have said to do and it didn't work. I spent a lot of money for this meter years ago and wasn't ready to replace it. It took me more time to take it out of the shipping material then it did to replace the display. The display works perfectly and I feel like I have a new meter. I would recommend this if you have the original Fluke 87 multimeter with a display segment issue. Make sure you read the description so you get this for the proper Fluke meter. I almost ordered the wrong display. Thank you Benet.

This LCD is a little pricey, but they're hard to find, and it allowed me to salvage an otherwise perfectly good Fluke 87. Note that this one is for the original 87 series, not the 87V. Installation took about five minutes and the only issue I have is that there were no markings or instructions to orient it correctly, so I had to figure it out myself. Looking at one edge of the LCD, there is a small bump in the glass (see photo). That bump is oriented to the right as you're facing the meter.

I was very glad to find this replacement for My Fluke 87. This new screen is bright and easy to read with the digits are stable. This screen is as good or maybe even better than when it was new and I hope to get many more years use out of it.
