This composting is so cute and looks great on the countertop and it’s also super functional. I actually put food scraps in there for a whole week and the filters keep it from smelling which is amazing to me. Really good quality for the price.

This little counter compost bin is cute. It's big enough that I only have to empty it about once a week, but not so big that it takes up too much room. It never gives off a bad smell. The only thing I would say is don't hold it by the bucket handle when you take it out because it comes off easily and you will spill the contents. I would recommend this product.Update: After using this for a few months and even using a new filter. It keeps getting maggots in it so I am no longer using it.

It looks nice ( when clen) I wondered if white placing scraps in there would get messy it does. N ut the plastic pail liner? I tapped it on edge of barrel to remove? the chipped way too easily! in winter IM not about to walk with the scoop and pail. plastic should be thicker

I like the size and the look of this bin. It comes with the mat to protect your countertop and another mat for drying when cleaning it. The only flaw I notice is the inside handle. It makes the lid not completely shut as shown in the photos. On the contrary, no foul smell, flies or insects are present. I may have used a compostable bag only to keep at bay the flies and insects in my large green trash bin outside my house that may attract them and also, to maintain it clean. I still gave 5 stars for it still works as intended and I needed this for I value the importance of composting.

It’s a nicely sized composter for the kitchen counter. The lid fits nicely and I like that there is a handle on both the metal bin as well as the plastic bin inside.Unfortunately, we can no longer carry just the plastic bin outside to add to our compost pile because it developed a long crack on two sides which allows any liquid to leak out (i.e., from tomato or cucumber bits).After submitting my initial review, I want to increase my rating because the seller reached out to me immediately and offered a replacement or a refund. That is great customer service and hard to find these days.

We are disappointed that the lid is so loose fitting that it actually sits on top of the container and doesn't seal. I have thought about returning it a few times because of this but it is the perfect size for collecting our compostables when we cook each meal that it never has the chance to build up an odor because it is emptied one or more times a day.

OMG this can is a perfect fit for my counter. No smell's no flies.

We have been composting for a number of years. Our old container rusted through because there wasn’t an insert. This one works very nicely with the insert. Very happy.
