BT 2700 Nuisance Call Blocker Cordless Home Phone with Digital Answer Machine (Trio Handset Pack) I have had this for less than a week so if problems arise in the future I will be back to update.It is a reasonable price for three handsets but am not sure how durable they are going to be - the buttons feel a bit squashy. It's great that you only have to enter the data on one handset, not all three.I went onto the BT website and downloaded the (free) pdf handbook for this model - it is 60+ pages long. It was useful as you only get an A3 sheet with the actual phone.I really bought it for the nuisance call blocker. This has proved not so straightforward to set up as I had hoped - but I am a bit of a technophobe. I have had to phone the dedicated BT helpline twice (0800 145 6789) and on the second occasion had to hold on for nearly 20 minutes. Having said that, they were helpful and knew what they were doing and solved the couple of problems I had without difficulty.The nuisance call blocker can block calls by EITHER type OR by number. That means you can choose whether to block calls by type - such as international, withheld, unavailable or payphone OR by specific number (ie creating a blacklist). I wanted to block specific numbers. One of the problems I had was that unlike other nuisance call blocker phones (apparently) with this one you have to switch the nuisance call blocker on - it isn't automatically on.I then temporarily "blocked" my own mobile number to see how it worked. When you ring the line from a blocked number, you can't tell it is blocked - it just sounds as if it is ringing - but of course at home the phone doesn't actually ring out. (Except if you have another phone connected to another telephone point, the blocking only applies to these three handsets). Anyway, in my house it means that unless ALL the phones are ringing I don't answer - or I could unplug my second phone. ;)Now I have set it up I think it is OK - and a good price - but time will tell!

My old BT phones were about 15 years old and the batteries needed replacing. They had done good service but I just thought I would put the cost of the batteries toward a new set of phones. I saw the "Nuisance blocking" function of these and decided to buy them. After 3 days use they seem ideal. Most importantly I guess they are easy to use, speech is clear and they are fine to look at. They have an easy to use menu to programme in numbers, change the ring tone (not an amazing choice but -OK) and add any numbers you want to block.The base unit has a built in answerphone which is about a third of the size of my old BT answerphone. We have only had 1 message so far but it was clear to listen to.When you programme your favourite numbers in, the other handsets pick up the numbers o you don't have to key them in three times over.The handsets are dark when in the stands but as soon as you pick them up there is a nice clear blue back light and the black text is easy to read.There is a freephone helpline for any technical questions. The instructions are clear and fairly easy to understand.Working out at less than £15 per handset I thought these were good value and hopefully will also last about 15 years.

Work's weird but unfortunately not as clear or easy to use as the previous phone

Great product. They have been working with zero issues for over 6 months. All functions work well and suits my mother inlaws needs

Arrived before promised date so pleased with that. Only niggle is that the ringtone is not as loud as our old phones and my husband is very hard of hearing. Otherwise happy with purchase.
