I recently purchased office this chair (Silybon EX-932) from Amazon and it arrived today. As soon as I looked at the packing box, I could see that the chair I ordered as new is, in fact, a return that was rather clumsily put back in the original box and was sealed with flimsy tape. Hoping to find a complete product (hope springs eternal), I have unboxed everything only to find that there is neither a parts list nor a sheet of assembly instructions.Amazon is turning into another Fry's Electronics, which was once a SF Bay Area multi-store nirvana for computer hobbyists but, by selling used and returned merchandise as if it were new, became a punchline. Not surprisingly, Fry's is now out of business.I have emailed Silybon at the address shown on the packing box to request assembly instructions and a parts list. I very much hope to be able to give a better review if and when I receive the product documentation.Tsk, tsk, Amazon.Two days later: I'm delighted to report that Silybon responded to my request for docs almost instantly. I put the chair together (1 pair of hands) last night with no problems. Silybon includes spare parts and and a hex wrench in the package, by the way. Still deducting one point for the chair being a returned item.

I ordered this chair for paperwork that I need to do from home. I am a teacher and spend hours of time in the evening and on weekends working at my desk. I am a larger woman with arthritis in my hips and back. I also have scoliosis. It has been difficult to find a chair that supports my weight and doesn’t aggravate my arthritis. This chair does the trick. It was easy enough to assemble and has been working for me for about 3 months now. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable chair.

I was between 4 and 5 stars on this chair, but ultimately I think this chair is closer to 5 stars and I have decided to keep it for my home office. I like that it is visually appealing - it is slim, sleek, all black. I like that the arm rests aren't stationary and can go up and down. I like that you can lean back in the chair, and I also like the back support. For me, the only thing that keeps it from being a 5/5 compared to a 4.5/5 is the position of the back of the chair. When I am working, I like to sit very upright. However, the back of this chair is a bit too leaned back for my taste. However, I have worked around this by purchasing a very thin pillow to wedge between my back & the chair so that I can sit fully upright.

This chair was very easy to assemble. I did it alone in about 30 minutes. Everything needed was not only provided, but sorted and labeled, making accounting of fastener types and quantities very easy. It was actually fun to see it come together.The picture directions were easy to understand, the accurate hardware counts appreciated, and alignment fittings were true. The chair has a very sturdy feel to it when sitting and provides back support. Height adjustments are easy with the hand lever. It rolls easily on the thin carpet in my office space. One of its best features is the arm rests raise up. This is one reason I bought the chair and it works exactly as I'd hoped by allowing the chair to snug up to the desk, freeing up floor space when not being used. I'm very glad I bought this chair and I may buy a second one as I have a two-sided desk.

I was searching for a smaller home office chair that would not take up as much space as the giant one I currently own but it needed to be comfortable. This chair checked both boxes. It is compact, comfortable, and moves easily on our luxury vinyl plank flooring. The other concern was the weight limit. I am well over 300 pounds and it doesn't impede the chair at all. I've had it for two months now and am very satisfied with it. A great find!

It’s very comfortable. This is the third chair I’ve had for my home office and so far it’s my favorite. It’s a great size. I’m 5’5 and have struggled w other chairs being too wide or too tall for my desk. This one is the right size for me and my desk.

Assembly was simple, and I like that the pieces are mostly metal instead of all plastic like some other chairs I’ve tried from Amazon. My one complaint so far is the lumbar support isn’t adjustable, just the height of the chair. You can also lock it from leaning backwards. But if you’re petite like me (5’2”), not much you can do about the back of the chair being way too far back for the lumbar support that was intended by buying this chair.

Bought this chair a couple months ago and it has been great ever since. No problems sitting in it for hours at a time and very simple to adjust. Highly recommend!
