This is actually the 2nd time I have purchased this. We LOVE it that much! (A friend borrowed my first one and lost track of it). I used this with my daughter and now, with my son. This is a wonderful, gentle way to include my toddler in our homeschool day while still letting him enjoy just being a toddler. The songs are all set to mostly familiar tunes. The pictures are bright and colorful and I love that it's glossy so that I can use a dry erase marker if I wanted to. The only thing that would improve this is if they put the CD track number on each page. But, it didn't take long for me to do that myself with a dry erase marker.

I purchased this item thinking it was going to come with a CD. It did not. The book gives a link to download the music from the Scholastic website. The link does not work. I wrote to Scholastic several days ago but have not heard back. I bought this flip chart and the circle time flip charts. Same problem with the one. 😩

I bought this to use with my k-2 music classes. We love it and use it nearly every class session. The kids really love the new words with familiar songs and that helps me to support what they're doing in their classrooms.

I bought this for homeschooling. The kids LOVE it! They want to sing all of the songs at once (that was not how I planned it, lol, but if that's what they want!). I was really happy when I got it in the mail and it was huge! Very easy for a whole class to see if you teach public school and the pages can be written on and wiped off. It teaches everything - seasons, months, days, weeks & weekends, time, weather...I love this and am so happy that I got it!

This is such a fun creative way to teach kids about the seasons, and months of the year. I used it in preschool today and the kids had a blast singing about spring time. At the end of the day all the kids were able to tell me the season is spring time, so they remembered it from the song! I love the ABC sing along poems one as well and you can even have the preschoolers recognize upper and lowercase letters before they pop up from circle time... Thank you so much!!!

I purchased this for my five year old son for Christmas. He loves school and loves to learn! He gets this chart out everyday and wants me to sing the songs with him and in a very short time he has already started memorizing everything! This chart teaches days of the week, months, times of the day, etc, in a very kid friendly & fun way!! I would recommend this to anyone whose child is struggling or anybody who just wants to get a head start!! Excellent AAA+++

nice music and songs but the one problem I had with it is the days of the week was inaccurate. I wish it would have started with Sunday, but all the "days of the week" songs start with Saturday. This makes teaching the week correctly difficult and we didn't use any of those songs. The other songs work fine.

The songs are ok. I not a fan that the days of the week song starts with Monday rather than Sunday, and I was hoping for a days of the week chart. I really wish items like this showed what it entailed inside.

Nicely presented, CD songs are catchy and pleasant however the content is aimed at american children with references to: Vacations, Thanksgiving, Mothers Day being in May, 4th of July and Labor Day.

Love this for our K/1 classroom. Comes with a CD that we listen to (because I'm not a singer!).Some of the songs have American themes but that's fine. This flip chart is exactly what it describes. It is not a calendar. It's songs for each month, season, and days of the week, etc.The price can't be beat. Teaching stores and even Scholastic themselves sell for over $30.

Unfortunately it is US specific for the months which I didn't realise and we live in Canada so there are certain pages where the songs do not apply. It would have been nice for Scholastic to have produced a generic product that could be used anywhere. We will just have to skip those pages and make up our own songs.
