Lovely soft, black, fabric that seems good quality with lots of stretch, but thick enough that knickers don't show through.Bought L/XL as, according to size guide, that equates to UK 12/14, which is the size of sports leggings that I usually buy from major UK supermarkets.These shorts are definitely more generously sized than my leggings and I could possibly have fit into the S/M size. They are slightly longer in the leg and waist length than the cotton cycle/running shorts that I have, but as they aren't tight I can simply fold the waist over. I will keep them and see how they wear over time but may order the smaller size in future.For comparison I am 5'2" and weigh 10 stone 3 pounds.

I'm a size 12 and the S-M fitted tightly but ok, think the next size would have been too big ...kept in place ,was pleased with them...only knocked off a star as they are quite see through,but wear a long top that covers your butt they're fine .

I love these shorts. They are are soft, well fitted and most of all, no roll down from the waist! I bought these as I had to have a large hernia operation and was dreading Summer as I'd piled on lots of weight not being able to do anything and it was sooo hot I had to make the transfer into summer wardrobe. The shorts go to your waist and give you a nice poise. They wash really well too and for the price they are a bargain. I was so surprised just how comfy these shorts are I bought a pair in 4 other colours.

These are great to wear under a dress or with a long top. They are true to size and comfortable, but are made of a similar material to leggings and are see-through. They're long enough to be used to prevent chafing, but can be pulled up to wear under shorter dresses.

These cycling shorts are very good quality they come up high on your waist very comfortable looks very nice on also very lightweight and very stretchy🤩

I use these for my yoga when it's hot. Comfortable love the colour, stretchy.
