Bought as a grad gift, and was very well received! Knife was packaged well, with the blade oiled, in a plastic bag, wrapped in bubble wrap, in an appropriate sized box. The damascus design was really nice and etched just right. Basic factory edge was serviceable, though I touched it up prior to gifting. The handle was also beautifully crafted and attached well - clearly we haven't tested it through time, but looks to be done right. The thing everyone commented on, though, was the nice file-work on the spine. This is something that they're proud to have and look forward to handing down to future generations.

I read some of the reviews and it is a Damascus knife, I was not pleased on the sharpness of the knife but I was able to fix that issue. So far I have gutted a antelope, moose and pig and it worked with no issues.

For the price this is a very nice knife
