Solid product, very premium packaging for the price.
First off, the package was delivered a week before it was supposed to, which is fantastic to begin with! The product itself is exactly as you'd expect, looks similar to a wireless receiver for a mouse or keyboard. The packaging was easy to open, simply a friction-sealing plastic cover, which gives access to the product along with a 2 page pamphlet. Inside the pamphlet they even included a small driver disc for you Windows 7 users out there! Considering the shipping was free, I got it sooner than expected, there was a driver disk, and the packaging was more than high enough quality, I am very satisfied to give the product an all around 5 star. The bluetooth menu pops up in your toolbox immediately without any need for driver installation in Windows 10, and the advertised 33 foot range is accurate. To test this, I used my AirPods, which have a 35 foot range. I set my phone on my desk, and walked with the AirPods in roughly 40 feet across the house before it cut the signal. I then tried the same, but with a video playing from my computer, and the signal cut at the same spot for both of them. Very satisfied!Tl;dr - Great product, plug and play for Windows 10, the advertised 33ft range is accurate, even comes with a driver disk for those of us with older versions of Windows. Cannot recommend this more!

Before throwing this away or leaving a one star review, READ THIS!!!
I own a Bose Speaker Soundlink Mobile II. I've had it for about five or six years. It is Bluetooth 2.0, I think....Anyways, it has been paired all that time with my old laptop. I recently got a new laptop with Bluetooth 4.0 and, of course, even though the speaker works perfectly with older devices and even though it cost a ton of money, it wasn't pairing at all with my laptop. After searching the internet for Bose updates (that would NEVER download), and re-trying, restarting, pushing and holding various buttons down for ten seconds in various configurations, I was soon at my wits end. Then I read a non-Bose employee suggestion to buy a CSR dongle. I had no idea what it was (and still don't, really), but I ordered it anyway, because it was only $6.50. Some reviewers said that it was a piece of junk and that it never connected their devices. Most said it totally saved their lives. If you fall into the first category, let me tell you what to do (Because...for some reason, there are NO directions, so I can see why a person would be angry!!!)1. Open the package and insert the small cd into your pc drive. (If you don't have a cd drive, don't buy this one. Instead, look for a dongle that doesn't use a cd.) 2. Run the setup.exe file that pops up and hit all the "okay" "accept" buttons. 3. After it installs, nothing will happen, and you will start to get mad....Don't worry!!! Proceed to number four: 4. Insert your dongle into a USB drive, and let the drivers install. There were five drivers for me. 5. Go to your "My Computer" file in Windows Explorer. Look for the Bluetooth symbol under "Other." (I have Windows 7...Your situation may be different. Anyways, just go to where you open your Bluetooth devices normally.) 6. Make your device discoverable and click on "Add device" from your laptop. Click on it and it will pair! Somehow it bypassed all the Bose Updater ridiculousness and paired anyway! So so happy!!!I was so nervous as this was happening. I thought surely it wouldn't work...I was sure I would have to throw everything away. But...no! It actually worked! Yay!!! Thank you thank you!!!!

Pretty impressed for the price. Setup can be a tiny bit tricky.
For the price, pretty impressed. Setup and going in 5 minutes. Says plug and play but not so much. Comes with driver CD. I'm sorta savvy so here is what i did..........Windows 10 Home...should work same for any Win 10.1. Plug adapter into USB port on pc/laptop.2. Will here sound saying device recognized. Close any windows that pop up.3. Insert CD and install driver. Will not give any message when done. Little window just goes away.4. Look at your active programs by clicking the upwards arrow in the bottom right of your desktop (pictured)5. If the bluetooth symbol is there, Restart computer. YOUR pc might allow you to recognize devices right away, mine likes the restart. :)When restarted or right there right click and tell to add device. Should see bluetooth device thats ready to pair on the list after a short bit.Hope it works for you. :)

This does work(now) - Windows 10
I ordered this product hoping for an easy, low cost solution to Bluetooth connectivity on my home built Windows 10 PC which does not have a built in Bluetooth adapter. Unfortunately this dongle does not work; it is read by Windows as a USB "headset" device and not as a Bluetooth adapter.*EDIT* This BT adapter does work now and has served its purpose just fine! I was having issues with getting this working that I was able to resolve. In my case the dongle was showing up as a headset and just "dongle" in the device list. I was unable to use the device in this state at all. If you are having the same issue, what you need to do is uninstall the device/drivers of the adapter in Device Manager. In my case it was listed under USB in the manager. You will be prompted to check "Delete the driver software for this device" when deleting- you must select this or it will not work. Remove the adapter, plug it back in and voila! Windows uses the default BT driver and all is well in the kingdom! From there, run the Bluetooth troubleshooter via Search and you are good to go.
