First and foremost this candle smells nice. It is said to be Marshmallow scented and I think that's pretty accurate as the scent is sweet. Inside the box I also found a packet of wildflower seeds.I'm a man but I like scented candles however the overall vibe of this one is a little on the girly side if you ask me. I think it would be suitable for a teenage girl or a woman who is a little bit on the "hippy" side. I say that because the candle is pink, the container is black. Inside the candle when you open the lid there is also a spinning top made from pink stone. Apparently you are supposed to spin the top and then recite an incantation that is printed on a card that accompanies the candle. That is where the "hypno-twist" of it all comes into play. Harmless fun maybe but religious people may not like it and perhaps now you are beginning to understand why i say it is for teenage girls.The candle does smell nice though, the wick is wide and flat and easy to light and overall the unit is a decent size. With the lid off it is a little over 9 centimetre tall and the mouth of the container has a diameter of 8 centimetres. If size is your concern you can get bigger candles for a similar price point or less even. Whether or not you see this as good value I guess depends on how much value you place on the stone spinning top and the 'spell' aspect. For me as an adult man I don't personally place a lot of value in that, but everyone is different of course. It is a nice enough candle but a bit too novelty for me, a 4* review is fair in my opinion.

This is a lovely gift for any candle fan and comes in a good range of scents.
