Extremely detailed
This is just 1 of many tiny things you must fabricate yourself. Just take your time and enjoy it maybe while listening to music or an audiobook

Not my favorite
I've done a few room kits now and this one is not my favorite. The instructions aren't great for the trickier bits and when I tried to put the tea sandwich caddy together the plates were too large and didnt fit. I also didn't have enough of the little brass tophats that are used for lights and candles.Much if this kit was okay to put together and I have a decent room with this but its definitely the most mediocre of the kits I've built.

Enjoyable challenge. Delightful to look at once complete.
This was my first miniature building project. I chose it because I miss coffee/tea with friends. My plan is to loan it out to everyone I wish I could join in person. It took about a month to complete, working on it in several hour stretches every couple of days.Upon first opening the instruction booklet, I thought it was going to be overly complicated. It was complex, but taking it one-step-at-a-time works out. The directions are accurate when they say not to make mistakes (because the materials supplied are exact). My first mistake was the grass…laying the pattern down wrong, I cut the pieces backward.Making this mistake at the beginning was good because it helped me realize that I could figure out alternate solutions using things I have in my sewing and craft supplies.I used up all the superglue provided (will buy extra next time) and was occasionally frustrated by the thin ‘strings’ of residue glue that inadvertently moved small items to places I did not want them. The most difficult construction pieces were the picket fence (difficult to get the pickets to stand straight AND remain evenly spaced as well as assembling the dust cover. (Holding all edges even as well as the corners is impossible with slow-drying glue.)For the next project, I’m going with a Rolife cover that secures edges with slots. (No glue required.)Tip: securely glue everything inside the building before completing the walls and roof.An extremely rewarding aspect of this project was electrical wiring, flipping the switch, and having the lights work!I learned that I like paper cutting, rolling, and folding. My next miniature is a library!Absorbing, great fun.
