Not a fancy finish but serviceable and sturdy, that's the main thing

The needle nose pliers would have difficulty bending 30A fuse wire and the side cutters just ab cut 2.5mm copper wire.

I wasn't expecting too much for the price of a set of tools, considering paying this for just a set of cutters is a gamble.Fortunately I was rather surprised. I just needed the cutters and long nose pliers for hobby electronics, to save misplacing and wearing out my Lindstrom set, so the rest were a bonus.Like most cheap hand tools I've used, these don't freely open and close like more exxpensive items do. However, some 501 oil and vigarous opening/closing soon sorted that out. The springs are fine, and the edges meet, they just needed some loosening up.Once that was done, they are really quite nice to use. The insulated handles are textured and easily big enough for large hands.Side Cutters : Not the smallest of jaws, so you may not quite get in to the tightest of areas, but good enough for most needs. They have a slight 'bull nose' profile, but are sharp (they cut paper) down to just under 1mm from a flat surface. Ideal for trimming soldered leads on components. 10cm long.End Cutters : Again, the cutting edge is just under 1mm from the surface, so you'll not trim anything completely flush, but this is ideal for electronics use. Sharp and about 8mm wide. 10cm long.Long Nose Pliers : The narrowest of all the pliers (2mm point), with 6.5cm long jaws. Mildly serrated surface until the last few millimeters on the tip, which is smooth. 15cm long.Normal Pliers : Slightly stubbier point, but still fine. 3cm long jaws. Serrated up to the tip, with a cutter inside. The cutting edge is around 2mm recessed. 13cm long.Bent Nose Pliers : Pretty much the same as the normal pliers, but bent up at the end, and with no cutters. 12cm long.The case keeps the instruments in place, with an elastic loop for the top of each item, and an elasticated/velcro strap at the bottom. It folds over to zip up, so is only 8x23cm when fastened.

The quality is good, the cutters are not as sharp as expected but no complaints at this price point, overall good value for money

The cutters not very sharp and need to wiggle to cut very thin wire though the long noses are adequate for craft work
