Good quality overall
It kind of lacks a few dB for the price, but if you can get it on sale, then it is a decent value (mostly because of the quality due to being made of wood compared vs the plasticy ones you would buy for the same ammount).

Light but bass leaves more to be desired.
So I've owned a pair of the XPRS1182s subs for about 4 months now and I have been on multiple gigs with them. I wanted these because they have the look of some EV subs. As far as the sound these subs really don't give you that sub rumble that I expected because the frequency response goes down to only 40hz. I mean it does sound OK, but if you are playing more hip hop type of tracks then this leaves alot to be desired. If you are more into house and that's what you play then these will work out fine, but if you play more hip hop then these will leave you wanting more. Another issue is my tops will outrun these easily. I have rcf 912a's for tops and I have to be mindful because these pioneer subs will clip very early on. I would say at about 1 o'clock they will start to clip when playing anything bass intensive. I honestly believe these are make for house music.

Lightweight, but so is the bass output.
This sub was appealing to mebecause it looked pretty good and was lightweight. The overall bass output though, is not anywhere near what I expected from an18” sub with 3” voice coil and a supposedly 2000w RMS amplifier. I had an EV EKX15sp that definitely put out more bass than this sub. It limits way too easy on anything below say 50 or 60hz. I think the output of this sub might even be less than my old QSC K-Sub. The tonality of the bass is ok, but it’s definitely tuned for mid bass. 60hz-100hz range. I wouldn’t consider this sub for DJ use, but it may be ok for live sound. Kick drums and most bass lines are prominent when the sub is playing. Below that, at least the limiters activate so there’s no distortion. It does a good job there, but the real issue is the sub very light output at actual sub frequencies.

way overpriced for the sound quality
I am a professional audio engineer and spent a good amount of time playing with the DSP in this thing. It straines the ears to listen to it. the build quality seem ok, but there is a major fail in the sound engineering of this speaker.

Is not power full
I has a subwoofer with a 1000watts and play with a same power of this one.
