Lightbulb blew at first try!!! It just popped and went black. There were some black marks inside the lamp too, looked like burned. The dimmer had some faulty sound in it and my fuse went off! Shame as the lamp looks and feels really stylish. The lamp and the bulbs were from the same supplier and used as advised. 1 bulb out of 4 blew, another had loose vires already. Shame as the lamp looks and feels really stylish.

We bought the correct bulb for this (low wattage vintage dimmable bulb), plugged the lamp in and enjoyed it for about an hour before it broke. We thought the bulb was faulty at first so immediately replaced it. No joy. We replaced the plug fuse. Still didn't work. We tried the new bulb in another lamp and it works fine. The lamp just gave up after only an hour of use. Terrible product. Cheaply made. Returning to seller. Not recommended.

After less than an hour of usage, I smelt burning. This item is poorly wired and is a serious fire risk.

The lamp looks good from a distance with an edison bulb (purchased separately). However not sure why they decided to ruin the base by engraving it with their company name. On/off switch is also a little flimsy. Does the job though.

Look great, really vintage feel. The dimmer switch is a great addition as it lets you set it to just the right level.Ordered two but one didn't work, but returned it and the replacement worked perfectly!Purchased these light bulbs with it and they work great. So disappointed. I bought two of these dimmerble edison bulb style lamps (perfect for me on paper) with the recommend bulbs, plugged them both in and one went bang within 30 minutes of being on. I tried the light bulb from that lamp in the other and it worked fine; so it was definitely the base that was faulty. Following night the other did the same, right next to my partners head who was laying in bed, bit of a shock to say the least. Unplugged both straight away at the time of ‘popping’ for fear of fire hazard. Terrible build quality! Amazon were very helpful in arranging a refund and return as I was informed the products were made and shipped from China.

A simple product that looks good in the very popular retro look very much in vogue today.The lamp base is compact and has it's own rotary switch so you can switch it on and off at the base. I fitted a Hue smart lamp and it works automatically.Overall, in the right setting a very pleasant looking lamp.

The product looks attractive but is so poorly made. I bought two and they both blew as soon as I switched them on. Only using a 40w bulb (max is 60). Thought I would give it another go so returned and reordered. The first one switched on ok - bit flimsy but works (for now). The second one is very wobbly and keeps flickering on/off due to a poor connection. Shame as they look nice but lost confidence in the product now.
