AquaTeak The Original Spa Teak Bath & Shower Mat

I honestly don't know how practical this mat is, but it sure does look good and completes the set (I have the matching shower bench and Manada shelf). It comes fully assembled and feels good to step on to when coming out of the shower, but it doesn’t absorb any water. TIP: Put a folded dish towel (so it isn’t visible) underneath the mat to catch any moisture. It prevents any stains on the marble and you don’t have to worry about water sitting on the floor beneath. Apply AquaTeak Premium Teak Oil to give the wood a richer color and to protect and extend life.

I wanted a compact and efficient bath mat for a small New York City Bathroom. We had used a cotton bath mat and it needed to be constantly washed and straightened so I did not like the aestheticThis stays more or less in place, it is the right size and fits the contemporary clean lines of the space. I had previously bought a stool to put towels etc on from the same company so I knew this mat would matchVery sturdy. Stool is a little clunky but stable so I can climb onto it to reach high shelves etc. They both work.In my ideal world, would have preferred this look with a sweet smelling wood such as cedar....other than that - no complaints!
