Very pleased with this product for my Garmin GPS64 on my bicycle. I now have 3 of these & the last one is for my Brompton. Fits securely & is adjustable for easy viewing & access.

I tried using this to mount my GPSMaps 64s on my Brompton folding bike steering wheel. The part that tightens down with screws to the handlebar is actually rock solid and will not budge. Unfortunately the device is slipped into a holder that connects to the support using 2 articulations so the angle can be modified. One of these articulations (connected to the handlebar plate) can be screwed tight with a ring and is ok, it doesn't budge). The other one, however, can be rotated but not clamped down further and under the weight of the GPS and when passing over cobbles it shifts or (worse) the GPS simple drops out, attached to the plate and all. This issue renders the product virtually unusable. The problem is that, with tubes inflated to 7 Bar and small 16 in wheels, the Brompton folder is very susceptible to vibration and this mount siply can't cope. With a larger wheel bike or even with a mountain bike (lower tire pressure) there might not be a problem but on a Brompton or a slim wheeled road bike: avoid.

It does exactly what I wanted - holds a Garmin GPSMap 64s securely on the handlebar of my bike for off road navigation. It was simple to fit with only two bolts to tighten. It has held the GPS rigidly even on quite rough tracks. However, I still use a small sling through the base of the GPS and round the handlebar as security back up just in case it is shaken out of the mount. That has not happened yet and is probably unlikely because the GPS can be a little difficult to remove from the mount.

I purchased this based on the more favourable reviews here on Amazon. However the item is of very poor quality and I would not put my £200+ GPSMAP 64s on this mount on my road bicycle. The part that slides on to the Garmin battery clip is such a tight fit that it will not fit, and I dare not force it as it is so flimsy it will break. It is no where near the quality of the Carabina clip that comes with the Garmin unit. I have returned this item; it is not fit for purpose and it's an insult to charge this amount of money for something that looks like it came out of a Christmas cracker .. avoid!

The best possible tool for the job. Given the hi risk and potential for the GPS falling off I needed the best quality mount with a proven pedigree and this was the best of them all. I have a high degree of confidence in the manufacturing quality and design of this mount, so far it is fit for purpose. Highly recommended.

This is a solid item, it clamps well onto the handlebars and hold the gps solidly
