Not for me........ugh.
Personally speaking - these aren't to my taste whatsoever.I thought, while purchasing sweets for the office, that these would be the foam mushrooms that I liked as a kid, and given that foam bananas and the like went down well with the rest of my work colleagues, potentially a safe purchase.So, so wrong.These have a consistency and taste which resembles my least favourite sweet - Jelly Babies. I appreciate that some people love Jelly Babies, some people enjoy the "biting the head off experience" or just the taste. Maybe even they pretend to fend Daleks off with them whilst wearing a long scarf. But alas, I can't stand them and as these are literally the same - Jelly 'Shrooms essentially - then I can't recommend them based on my personal taste (especially since the one I put in my mouth came out shortly after with the speed of a .45). On the flip side, some in the office like them. I can't wait for the bag to be finished so I can get something more.......yummy.

Not as good as the originals
Bought for my husband who loved foam mushrooms as a child. Unfortunately, they were not the sweets he had hoped for. The originals were a lighter foam, consistent all the way through; these are quite a dense foam with a jelly-like strawberry centre and are sickly-sweet; nothing at all like those childhood favourites. He still quite likes them, despite his initial disappointment, and they have been a great hit with our children (perfect incentive to get them to revise/ practice maths etc in return for payment in mushrooms).3 kg is a LOT of sweets; the combined efforts of one adult and 2 children have barely made a dent in them after nearly a month! Good value for money, but don't expect a replica of the sweets you remember from the seventies; these are not the same.

As sweets go, they are fine. But these are not the mushrooms you are expecting.Original Mushrooms are foamy these are not.I bought them for a big mushroom fan, but now I'm gonna have to gonna have to live through the mild disappointment...

Thought they were like the old chewit mushroom chews / ASDA raspberry chews. But the texture is odd and the flavour had a weird aftertaste. None of my friends liked them
