We had sometimes begun to see a mouse run from behind the kitchen bin to under the fridge, and had also found droppings in the adjacent garage. I hate putting down poison, especially with a dog sniffing around, but it had to be done so I got a set of these boxes and bait. I'm impressed by their design - they are strong and really difficult to get open even with the tool provided, so are very safe from accidental emptying. They are little, and thus go into small out-of-the-way places where mice can get to, but dogs can't, like behind the fridge. They are easy and safe to load as you don't have to touch the bait, which is a bit like pink Playdoh in a plastic sachet, which the mice nibble through without you having to touch it. I chose the clear plastic version, which is good because you can hold the box up to the light and see if the bait has been nibbled, without opening the box. After a couple of nights, the one in the garage is going down steadily, so i guess there are some mice with a tummy ache somewhere, but they seem to have disappeared. and the price is really good for the set of five boxes and bait to fill them. Very easy to use with good instructions. Our unwanted furry guests seem to like the bait as there is evidence of someone having a nibble! One of the boxes even had the beginnings of a nest inside it! Downside is that there is only one key for five boxes. One per box would have been handy, especially as each one has a handy slot to keep it in. Hope I do not need to but any more of these, but they definitely work.

Excellent follow-up from the seller, sending info on how to use the product, which as it contains a potentially dangerous poison, is much appreciated.I would have liked to have more than 2 keys per 10 bait stations, as I'm sure I'll have problems remembering where I've put the key, or which box it is stuck onto, but otherwise all seems well. Hoping the key doesn't break!Too early to judge effectiveness as we have an intermittent (but destructive!) mouse problem since we lost our beloved cat. But this product is easier and less messy to use than loose poison granules which we use in France - I'm taking these bait stations with me next trip. Arrived very quickly.

The item arrived on time. The item was well packaged due to its contents. (Took me 10 minutes to get into the box).Only 1 key for 5 boxes which is good unless your like me and misplace things.The boxes are easy to undo. The boxes are easy to lock as you just snap them into place.The instructions are easy to understand. Just remember to use very thick rubber gloves when placing the "pasta packets" into the boxes.The thickness of the boxes could be a bit thicker. The boxes are very lightweight so are easy for whatever you are trying to trap can move them around as we found out.I have used 3 boxes and "pasta packets" so far and I'm happy to say that it looks like they have worked and we haven't heard anything from Ratatouille since.

Plastic boxes are great however, it didn't work and am still having a mouse problem. Really disappointed

and i don't hear them anymore or smell their corpses either.
