I got the legit clapper and it was doa. So, I got this one and in a really clean environment it worked from the get go. Then my kids came over, and screams and tromping turned the light off and on , then I’d be in bed with no other sounds and I’d clap like a fool for 5+ minutes with no success. Very frustrating. Had to return it. I love the idea though; Alexa and Google and Siri all frustrate me but I enjoy the simplicity of ease.. when it works

I purchased a clapper at a lower price; it worked well for a couple of years. When it stop working, I ordered the clapper being reviewed. It never worked as described. When you clapped the correct number of times, it did not work at all. However, other noises such as music, voices, and any type of bumping noise would cause it to turn the light off and on. I do not recommend this clapper at all.

The plug holes on it are too loos and there are these nubs that make it almost impossible to actually plug this thing in. Once you perform magic and get it plugged in, it also doesn’t work.Waste of money!

Sprained my wrist having to clap so loud and repetitively for it to activate. Then after getting frustrated with trying to get it to work the case cracked getting it out of the wall. It's cheap for a reason.

Does not work plug in for lamp Does not hold plug .lamp flickers when plugged in . Not worth my time to replace.what do I do with this item?

Very cheaply made and will turn on or off with any loud noise.Would not recommend.

I took it out of the box plugged it in to a lamp I claped and nothing happened
