I used this band after surgery and it help be feel secure and comfortable when wearing it. I like it cause it was a good size to cover the bottom of my stomach as the top.

I almost sent this back however, I am glad I didn't. I bought this extra long accidently and am happy I did because it overlaps giving me a good hold to stretch it tight. The grip on the velcro closure is really sticky you have to make sure you get it where you want it because it doesn't let go. You can be assured it is going to come of accidently. I laid it out on my bed and then laid down on it wrapping the non velcro across first. I pulled it tight then pulled the other side across stretching it as tight as possible. Do not stick it down until you are sure it's where you want it. I pulled the top across first then the middle then the bottom. Then I stood up and adjusted it up or down to be comfortable. I got this because my battery pack for my pain stimulator had broken loose. It has also given me support while my back is recovering its core muscle strength. By using this I have reduced my pain by 50% and that is increasing daily.
