TwinlabTWL Men's Daily One 60 ct

I've been a fan of Twinlab vitamins for a long time. Generally they strike me as 'strong' and these are much the same. You might find your urine changes color, which to me is an indicator of vitamin strength/quality...but I don't know that much about vitamins.

I have been using multivitamins for years now. So when I saw this Men's Daily One I wanted to try them out. Note while I did receive the product for free, I do have to pay income taxes on the full value of it. My review is based solely on the product itself, nothing more.I compared the ingredients in these to the current multi-vitamin I take and they are very similar. So I have started using one of these capsules daily in the morning. I have not noticed any negative impacts from the change. That said, I am not sure if I notice any major difference on the positive side - but that is because the ingredients are very similar. While the capsule is a reasonable size, I did notice a bit of a smell from the jar and these pills are very yellowish in colorI do wish they (actually all vitamin manufacturers should) would post lab results periodically on their product. The Vitamin industry is not well regulated and seeing independent lab reports helps a consumer know they are getting what they paid for. But overall, it seems these work fine

I use this as a multivitamin, but recently it had not been available , only the women’s version. I was happy they still had some; not sure how long their supply will last, but I will order as long as it does.

This comes in an amber plastic bottle with the expiration date (05/25) prominently stamped on the bottom (that gives you a good deal of time to use these capsules before the best by date passes).The claimed count is 60 capsules, the recommended dose is 1 capsule, so 60 doses — at a retail list price of $19.99 when I ordered, & that’s $ .333 a dose.The bottle top is shrink wrapped sealed, the inside top is properly tamper sealed. Inside the capsules are well buffered by cotton fill on top, a welcome touch.There were two moisture absorbing packs in the bottom of the bottle, and a manual count resulted in spot-on 60 exact capsules.The capsules aren‘t the smallest but not giant either, & they are not sticky & don’t smell or have any particular taste during or after swallowing.They’ve done everything right: dotted their i’s & crossed their t’s so to speak.We take so many supplements, these can’t be detected as changing anything, but also we have had no bad side affects.For the company to go thru all the hoops they do to provide this product, I’d say try them if you need a Men’s Daily — you could definitely find pills done much much worse & not save much for the quality you’d sacrifice.

So I think its a bit difficult to review supplements unless you've been taking them and nothing else for a good while. That said, within the first couple of days, I felt like I had more energy and overall felt a bit better mentally. These definitely have the B vitamins they advertise (if you know, you know, if you don't, don't be shocked when you pee, its normal...), which could explain the boost in energy. I ended up changing a medication around a week into taking these, so its hard to say what changes came from the supplements vs med, but I haven't had any negative effects, so I feel comfortable recommending these still. The capsules are a bit large, so if you have problems swallowing pills, these may not be the best option.

It is difficult in all honesty to review supplements. This product is stated as helping energy levels and prostate health. I cannot state with accuracy whether or not it helps my prostate--I do feel about the same as I did with my chewable daily vitamins I had previously been taking.Pros: You only have to take one. Product is stated to have a generous helping of multivitamins.Cons: I think they smell weird, pills are large and may be difficult for people who have trouble swallowing.As a side note they turn your urine an odd Mtn Dew color--I don't know any other way to describe it. It doesn't appear to have a noticeable odor but definitely a different color. I have experienced no side effects thus far.

I got these to replace my normal daily multivitamin. Instead of tablets or caplets, these are capsules which I think are a little easier to swallow. These have a nice variety of vitamins and really cover most of the important areas. The only thing you should watch for in my opinion is that these have 3200iu of Vitamin D so if you take an additional Vitamin D supplement like I do you need to be aware of this. I believe the highest recommended dose for D is 4000iu before you start getting into the toxic range. I am NOT an authority on that stuff so do your own research or ask your doctor.

I'm over 50 and been looking to start taking a one a day daily vitamin. I'm familiar with the Twnlab name and thought this might be the right time to get into taking vitamins. Been taking these for little over a month now. I don't feel any difference but I'm almost sure that my body is getting the daily requirements now of vitamins and supplements that I've no doubt been lacking.
