Multi-Stage Label/Glue Decontamination Required
It's a stainless steel plate and nothing particularly special. It's priced reasonably cost-effectively, but this goes out of the window when you realise that the branded label that's been stuck to the eating surface is not an easy-peel label. On no, that'd be too convenient for the customer. After several hours of soaking (the plate, not me) I reached for a non-scratch spatula. Does that remove the label ? Yes. Does it remove the glue ? No. Now I have to find something suitable to remove glue from a plate. Why a manufacturer would want to create a negative customer experience, and also a resulting negative review, is a mystery but both are a reality.

sticker is a nightmare
The plate came with the sicker on the inside of the plate and it was an absolute nightmare to get off. I still could not remove all of it. The plate looks dreadful now as it is full of scratches I would have sent it back but my son needed it for a Duke of Edinburgh award. I don't understand, why oh why don't they put the sticker on the bottom of the plate or put stickers on that peel off easily. It not rocket science. I would never buy any utensils from this company again.

I use them as kids plates
My wife and I wanted a healthy alternative to plastic and melamine and this really fits the bill. Well made and easy to clean. It feels robust enough to last for years. An unintended benefit is that they wick away the heat from very hot items like soup making it faster to reach safe eating temperature. On the backside of that, your food may cool faster than intended. One other side note is that the label on the bottom is so hard to remove that I only attempted to remove one. The labels on the other plates have stood up to dozens of dishwasher cycles and still look like new. Would have preferred an easy to remove label...

Great plates but prepare to do battle with the sticky label!!
Heed the warnings - the labels stuck to these plates are an absolute PAIN to remove. I ended up needing to SOAK it in special sticky glue remover to shift it in the end. But, as they're stainless no horrible chemical odours or smells remain after using this method. Once you've got rid of the label, you'll love these plates. Great quality, last a long time.

They stick the label on the upperside of the plate ...
They stick the label on the upperside of the plate and you can't remove the glue. The item is therefore unusable. I had to throw mine away and am now looking to buy a different one. I think Ill just go to a camping store.

Quality stainless plate
Good quality stainless steel plate with a mirror-finish top and a brushed-finish underside. A little smaller than some plates but should last a lifetime.

The sticker
This would be an excellent item if not for the sticker on the bottom. I have ruined the plate by trying to remove the glue, which is still on it in some places. The item is useless as a camping plate with a horrible sticky residue on the bottom. an example of what I have done to try and remove it - spirit based solvent, brillo pad, warm soapy water, 4 hour soak in warm soapy water. all of these things have removed a little of the glue but not all of it. I have completely ruined the plate which is now out of shape, dented in in the bottom and scratched to hell all over.DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM
