Excellent beginners guitar. No string buzz so set up correctly out of the box. Great sound and lightweight. Highly recommended for a beginner player.

As is well known, the Epiphone Brand is a wholly owned subsidiary Gibson Company. Like many, I simply couldn't afford a Gibson SG so chose Epiphone's less expensive model as a workable alternative.The guitar was delivered well packaged and already in tune (more or less). The finish & colour are excellent. Neck is straight, fretboard smooth with no nasty sharp edges. It plays like a dream when using with my Fender 20w amp. and my initial overall impressions are very favourable. My only gripe is that two of the tuners are a bit rough (hence 4 Stars on the Comfort Score) but this is a minor consideration and easily corrected by replacing. I have read that many people don't stop there and change the pick-ups et al ending up with some sort of Franken-Axe but that's personal choice. Me I'm happy and pleased to recommend.

This guitar is nice visually and is now playing fine however we did have to sort out some of the wires inside because to begin with it wasn't working. If it continues to work I will be happy as it is a nice guitar.
