After being bitten over 25 times last year, wasn’t taking any chances this year, bought this and used every day over 2 weeks I was bitten 4 times 1 by a mosquito, very happy with this product would highly recommend

Burma's mosquitoes are an evil bunch, and on the last two visits to that wonderful country I'd been bitten so much that my arms and legs resembled a red / white polka dot pattern by the end of my stay! So this time, I took 4 cans of Jungle Formula Maximum (working on a rough estimate of 1 can per week of my stay, not being quite sure how much I'd need - as it happened, this was plenty). End result? 5 bites in 4 weeks, of which three were from a crafty mozzie which had managed to get inside my t-shirt & bite on my back where there was no spray. Conclusion? Finally - FINALLY - a spray that works! Of course, other customers will have had their own experiences (good or bad) with this product, but, speaking for myself, this is what I've been looking for. As it's an aerosol spray, it's very easy to apply, not sticky, the scent is not overpowering, and you get most of a day's protection. I applied the spray first thing in the morning, then again late afternoon - worked a treat. Unhesitatingly recommended.

I'm sure that this stuff is extremely effective for keeping mossies and other insects away and there are many reviews on here that will attest to that. That of course is exactly why I bought it. But I'm afraid that I could only bear to use it once. I sprayed my arms, legs and neck with this chemical and was then conscious of its presence all evening. I was careful not to rub an itchy eye or damp mouth with the back of my hand for fear of getting the stuff into my eye or ingesting the stuff. I just felt like a walking chemical hazard to myself. I'm giving the item 4 stars because I'm sure it it as effective as everyone else says. I'm deducting one star because I don't like spraying myself all over with nasty chemicals.I'm like a walking buffet for mosquitoes so I need to find something that suits me. For the rest of my trip I used "Bug Patches" which made me smell of marmite but possibly worked as I returned home bite free. However if I was to visit an area which had a real danger of contracting malaria or dengue fever then I'm sure I'd go back to Jungle Formula and stop being a baby about it!

Used this for a trip to Thailand and didn’t get a single bite (I usually get loads). Great product, highly recommend.

It's a bit stinky but it works so it's worth it! Bugs love to bite me so this product has become my new best friend, so easy to use. Its pricey but here is best price ive found it. My tip would be to only apply outside. I did it once in the bathroom and it made the floor slimey and slippery, big mistake!

Definitely less bites than with other products, however considering it's 50% DEET it's still not full proof. It has a strong smell and I would not recommend to anyone with even slightly sensitive skin. Myself and the family had some itching/redness with extensive use.
