Good microphone, bad quality wire
I've had two of these they're amazing but they wire on it is delicate, like the both I've used one ear stopped working. I love these headsets because for voice the quality is something to live for, for the price I got it for.So if you're going to use it from time to time and not as a full time headset then I recommend it but for a full time headset you have to baby the wire like keep an eye on it like a hawk. I looked after it too but somehow the left ear still stopped working so disappointing I really like the headset.

Great product but USB only, not 3.5mm jacks as well
Warning: description states "The .Audio 470 DSP offers a flexible choice of connections; through USB sound card or use the gold plated 3.5mm jacks, either way set up is straightforward."HOWEVER this is the Audio 400, not the 470. So you only get a USB plug and not the 3.5mm jacks. Somewhat misleading by the seller, as that feature will set you back an _additional_ £90.Other than that its great: light, folds up small, highly adjustable including length of mic boom, (albeit the mic is not reversible so must come from your left ear, if that's important).

one earpiece no longer working after 6 months
This product worked really well until recently when one of the earpieces stopped working. It appeared to be a loose connection initially as if I twisted the cable which fed to this particular earpiece and held it in one place it was ok, however, now it is not working at all. I have been trying to contact the manufacturer directly but as yet no response.Be very aware if you buy this product as after 30 days you will get no assistance from Amazon and you will not be able to return it as not fit for purpose, very disappointed...

but in reality they were less than perfect long before then
Hmmm, I have been buying these headphones since 2006, so you would have naturally thought I was a big fan, after all, that's twelve years of loyal purchases from the same Company for the same product (albeit they changed the designation a few years ago) so clearly they must be doing something right?. Well they used to, I could buy these and expect them to last around two years, and given the price and quality, thought that they were exceptional value.Sadly over the past THREE years the quality and workmanship has declined rapidly. The previous two pairs I bought lasted approximately nine months....I say lasted, but in reality they were less than perfect long before then, but I made do by taping them up!!. The pair I have currently (a replacement pair from Amazon after five months) lasted just three months before they went the same way as the previous two pairs....and of course Amazon won't replace them twice!!.The problem stems from the inline volume controller and the WOEFUL top connection, which, on EVERY pair, causes the headphones to start losing sound in one ear (always the right) and then in BOTH ears.....which is the point at which you have to start TAPING them to hear ANYTHING at all......taping requires you to bend the cable from the headphones at the top most point of the inline volume control backwards against the body to hear, then move and wiggle it repeatedly as the sound goes in and out.I used to love Plantronics products...........but it seems they, like 90% of their Competition, give little or no regard to quality or longevity of their products, which is surprising in so many ways, because any fool (although not obviously a PR or Quality department) can tell you that Customer loyalty is built on Reliability and Quality of build, and NOT an army of paid reviewers and Influencer's, that road is paved with OBLIVION for your Brand.........try making a little less profit and a LOT more followers by investing in Quality and Reliabilty!!

Great headset at a great price
The shape of this headset looked strange to me when it is unfolded, so at first glance I thought it might be uncomfortable. Thankfully, it is really comfortable and good for long shifts.

good but does not work with Mac computers
Even though this headset is really good I could not get it to work on my Mac book pro. I don't know whether it is a fault with the software or the hardware but it does work extremely well with a Windows-based machine. It's light comfortable and works well with Dragon speak. It is certainly one of the more comfortable headsets that I have used over the years.

Had better for less money in the past
Broke after 6 months, sound keeps going from one ear to another, mouth piece keeps falling off and generally headphones keep sliding off my head, might be just because of my head though.

Good USB headphone for Skype call and the like
I have had these headphones in the past, in fact they were replacing my original pair which had broken after many many years of faithful service.Good back ground noise suppression if you are in a locally noisy area, clear sound in ear pieces. If you do play music with them they are not to bad either.A little pricey but they are used as an office tool so further the added expense.
