I use this every night before bed. Such a soothing scent and lasts a long time.

I've used this Basil Essential Oil for candle making. This is a very potent fragrance with an undertone of pepper. Although it doesn't match the scent of fresh basil perfectly, it does have a great hot throw scent when burning candles. This is an affordable essential oil.

I use a lot of essential oil in my diffusers at home, and most are of the fruit-scented variety, but this is the first time I’ve tried a basil themed version.Kind of hard to describe, but I’d call it a spicy-citrus scent where a little can go a long way.If you plan on using this in a diffuser, try a drop or two less than what you’d normally use.I do appreciate that the bottle comes with an eye-dropper as that makes metering out the drops easier.Price is about on par with other essential oils.Of note, this review also covers the grapefruit version (they came together and I can't separate the reviews).Here is the one for the grapefruit variety:To say this smells like anything other than freshly cut grapefruit is lying (although my better half says it smells like grapefruit rind).This is pure grapefruit essence all the way though.It does take about 4 or 5 drops to be effective but that’s easy to dose out since the bottle comes with an eye dropper.For me at least, well worth the $9.99 price.

It is great to add to my diffuser for aromatherapy. I use "recipes" I find online to combine a few drops of several different kinds of oils to make unique scents. I especially like adding lemongrass, rosemary and basil. This smells so nice and relaxing.I do recommend this oil. The scent is strong and seems true to the fresh basil I add to recipes. THUMBS UP!

First, let's talk about the packaging. The basil oil arrives shrink wrapped in a little box and inside you will find a dropper and the glass bottle with separate threaded lid. When you open it and give the old sniff test, it is a very strong basil scent. When using this stuff, remember a little goes a long way.My wife and I both agree, it smells great. This is a zesty aromatic basil oil. I deducted one star because the little plastic "drop drop" insert was clogged. I removed it to unclog, but it wouldn't go back on properly, had I tried to use it the entire bottle would've poured out. So now I'm using the eye dropper that was also included, not a big deal but it could be an issue with others. I use basil oil with witch hazel as an aftershave, I'll probably also use it to make soap.

It has a sweet basil smell to it. It's not what I had expected as far as the scent, I was expecting a strong, pesto smell to it, but it is delightful

This basil oil smells so good. I put a few drops in a burner and the room smelled so good. I also put a few drops in the tub to soak. I am happy with this oil.
