This is an excellent sketchbook. Strong binding and back covers. Paper quality ideal for some wet work as well as dry drawing. A great versatile sketchbook at a nice price. I'll buy more.

Good paper and tooth.

I bought this sketchbook to use on travels. It’s the perfect size. I’ve started putting watercolours on the outside cover and they have taken fine. Then I tried homemade blackberry ink for the background with bleach to write the word ‘Paris’ and nothing came through to the next page. I definitely think it’s well made, the cover is sturdy and it’s considerably cheaper than others. Very pleased with this sketchbook.

The paper quality is perfect for a light wash of watercolour! I love the rustic look the cover had! The edges of the cover were a little sharp when first purchased but became softer eventually! Defo value for money and shall be purchasing another very soon!

Ahhhh this has got to be my favourite sketchbook I've purchased. It works really well with colour pencils!! You can easily draw on both sides of the page too without the pencils being seen on the other side and without warping the page.The pages don't really have too much texture on them, so that might be a turn off for some, but it didn't really matter to me!The sketchbook is also a hardcover. It has a really interesting texture to it, which feels really nice. I haven't tried painting on the cover, so idk how well artworks on the cover would turn out.The binding is very strong too, so I have no worries about any pages falling out. However since it is binded with thread, you can't tear out a page without making a mess of your sketchbook, so keep that in mind!Anyways that's enough rambling, if you want to get this sketchbook for colour pencils and normal sketching, I highly recommend it!! Imo this sketchbook is best for hobbyists and beginners!I'll be trying out gouache in this sketchbook too, so I'll update the review when I do.

amazing book. the paper is amazing quality. i was very worried that it was going to be to thin but it’s actually pretty decent

Lovely, sturdy sketchbook, excellent quality paper, really well bound, love the recycled board cover, really well made. I've used this as my project book for recording things that I make as a felter. I can see myself having a few volumes of these.

I've done various pieces of art in this book including using water colours and inks. The paper is thick enough to not go through to the next page. Love the look of it generally.

Das Skizzenbuch besticht äußerlich durch seine Schlichte Schönheit ( klassisch ), ist gut verarbeitet und gut zu händeln. Das Papier innen hat eine sehr angenehme Struktur und wirkt hochwertig im Sinne von nicht überbehandelt, sondern "naturbelassen" .Einziges Manko ist die zu kaufende Anzahl - das gibt es nur im Dreierpack . Das ist aber nicht wirklich tragisch - dann muss man nicht so schnell nachkaufen . ;o)

Ho acquistato questo quaderno su consiglio di mia cognata che adora disegnare. Quindi ho chiesto a lei se il prodotto gli era piaciuto e mi ha detto che va oltre le sue aspettative ed è veramente soddisfatta 😍. In particolar modo è rimasta colpita dalla robustezza delle pagine e della rugosità della carta perfetta per i suoi disegni. Lo consiglio

The paper was smooth (not too smooth), and it was almost perfectly white.Personally I like to decorate my sketchbooks, that was easy with this one

Ich liebe dieses Buch! Damals in der Schule musste ich mir einige für den Kunstunterricht kaufen und machte durchwachsene Erfahrungen mit deutlich kostenintensiveren Marken. Hätte ich dieses hier doch nur vorher gekannt!Ich nutze es hauptsächlich für Bleistift- und Finelinerzeichnungen, Aquarell- und Acrylmalereien. Auch Zeichenkohle und Collagen klappen aber super. Hier muss man natürlich schauen, welche Erwartungen man an die Papiereigenschaften hat. Für mich ist es ein schöner Kompromiss für meine Lieblingsmedien.Ich mag die Haptik des Einands, welcher auch recht robust ist. Klar, wenn es immer in der Tasche mit dabei ist, schuppert mal was ab und auch einzelne Fäden des dunklen Buchrückens lösen sich, aber es hält.Für mich ein super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.
