Stork Childcare Narrow Stair Gate 71-82cm White

A really good quality stair gate for a narrow doorway to our child's bedroom. We usually buy our stair gates from Tesco but they were too wide and only did one size. So amazon it was. Like I said very good quality, noticed the difference straight away from the Tesco ones but then again this stair gate is double the price so I guess you should expect better for your money.Fit like a dream and so easy to fit - no complaints here !!!

Not so easy to install and not easily resiteable as I’d hoped. It was bought for grandchildren and ideally we need to move it around but would hesitate to move once in place. This also inhibits access to the room as reluctant to move between visits. The safety catch says it requires press and lift but in fact lifting is enough, meaning an older resourceful child could open. It is pretty sturdy in construction.

I like the self closing gate which is an advantage when carrying grandson.

The spindles - the bit that you screw against the wall to make this secure - spin in their sockets rending the whole thing useless. This is the 2nd brand of stair gate I have ordered this week from this website and both have the same fault... really poor!

This is a good product. It's robust, easy to apply and the gate closes by itself after you went through. I have nothing to complain.
