Solid, light, very well built and surprisingly powerful.
I have previous practice amp experience... This amp gives more. The effects are enough for any learner/amateur guitarist to explore and express in wide sonic range. The app, now available in Android, promises more. The build is sturdy, it could certainly stand a bit of knocking about. I would recommend this to anyone new to buying guitars and amps, you can get all opinionated and finicky later. If you want a reliable and versatile amp to practice or even gig with, this will serve you well. Surpisingly powerful and works nicely on headphones. Nobody paid me for this opinion. :)

Great practice amp
The clean channel on this is so good. The other two are great too. Use the app to get the amp sound you like. Itβs just what I needed and the sound is fantastic. Quality product for a good price.

Good practise amp. Nice sounding FX
Bought this as a practise amp and, as a guitar teacher, to take to lessons. Made by Roland so a very well known and respected brand. Very well built and simple to use. Amp is plug and play so no ability to save presets like a Katana. Comes with 3 factory channels - clean, crunch and lead. The clean sound is really nice especially with single coil guitars and sounds bigger than the tiny cabinet might suggest. Lead channel is OK but a bit boxy sounding. The factory crunch sound was awful and unusable. However, if you download the Cube Kit app on your phone you can load more amp models onto the unit (You will need a cable to connect your phone to the amp input though- I had to buy a Lightning to jack adapter). I replaced the factory crunch model with the Tweed model - big improvement. As expected from Roland/Boss, the built in digital FX are good although you can only use one effect at a time and control is limited to the amount of effect applied (eg you cannot alter the delay time). FX included are chorus, delay and two types of reverb. Amp is plenty loud enough for home practise but not really for jamming with a drummer. If you don't need all the bells and whistles of a Katana or Blackstar ID or Catalyst, this little amp is a good option.

Good price but.........
I needed something lightweight and portable for my guitar music teaching, and initially gave it '5 star' positive review, but after testing the amp several times with different settings, there is noticeable hum/buzzing noise from speaker and reluctantly have returned the speaker, in it's favour is the low price but it is probably worth paying bit more for amp with quality speaker rather than gimmick modelling settings. As a Guitar music teacher, It seems that small budget guitar amps are being made full of modelling and app settings which from a teaching point of view can cause lot of confusion with students and detracts from the basic idea of learning scales and chords etc..

Great practice amp
Great practice amp, and comes reasonably priced too. The thing I really like is that you can download the Roland Cube Kit app and you are able to transfer different amp models on to the Cube 10GX and there is something for everyone from cleans to slightly overdriven to all out metal. The 3 band EQ means you can really tailor your sound, although I find myself turning the bass off completely. If you find the JC-120 clean a bit too clean, then try the Deluxe Reverb model from the Cube Kit app as it's much warmer.

Quality amp with flexible effects
This is a neat little amp that offers good volume and a variety of effects via a three way switch that is programmable for different amplifier characteristics from your iPhone. I'm an acoustic player and have enjoyed playing with the effects. The "acoustic amp" plug in effect is not very loud so would be the least useful in a gigging situation, but the other settings would easily fill a medium sized gig/open mic space. The amp has only one 1/4 inch jack input but does have a line-in so that you can play along with pre-recorded backing from an iPhone or mp3 player.Note that this is a mains adapter amplifier, I guess you mighty be able to rig up a battery option but I haven't tried this.
