works great for headless computer
I am using my old desktop to run a plex server, file hosting, and some other things. I noticed weird issues when I tried to connect to it via remote desktop, also some other issues w/plex too. That's when I discovered that video cards/windows don't always play nice when you don't have a monitor plugged into it. Anyway, bought this, plugged it in, everything working as expected now.

Corrupted my Ubuntu Display drivers
Plugged this in to my server to be able to remote desktop into it. Upon the next restart all of my display drivers were freaking out and I couldn't boot into the device. Had to create another ubuntu partition and recover the files to the other hard drive. Would not recommend for Ubuntu use.

Works perfectly
Using it on a mini lenovo with Linux on it. Works perfectly. I no longer get the message“No display” from Rust Desktop. I’m using a DP adapter and still works fine.
