Hoggs of FifeBlackthorn Micro-Fleece Lined Shirt - Sky Blue Check

I have a couple of shirts from 'Hoggs' - but this was the first fleece lined shirt I bought, and I am glad I did!The first thing to say about it is that, even before putting it on, it feels rather thick and heavy. To be honest, I have not noticed the weight when wearing the shirt, and it certainly does nor feel bulky when on (I wore it tucked into trousers for added warmth-and it was fine). Friends and family didn't seem to notice any extra 'bulk', either.One thing I did notice was the arms and cuffs felt a little short and tight. I am of slim build with very slender wrists - and even on me they felt slightly tight. I had to undo the cuff button to put the shirt on the first time I wore it, but it was much better after this.The reason for buying this was for warmth - and on this the shirt did not let me down! In the harsh weather we are having at the moment (Dec '22) the shirt has felt warm and comfortable to wear both indoors and outside.One final thing to say is that the shirt washes easily at 40 in the washing machine. It keeps its shape well and requires only minimal ironing (if any! It is quite bulky to iron!).All-in-all I am very pleased with this shirt - so pleased I am looking to buy another in the same series!(These are my own thoughts on an item I have personally bought and enjoy using)
