Seems impossible to fit, but do your research and have a plan for the install.I didn't have a table vice so I drilled a hole in a 2x4 enough to fit the axle and bolt in and hold the tire down securely, then clamped that to a work surface.I soaked the tube in hot water and lubed up the wheel before installation. After getting that on, flipped dit over and used a long screwdriver through the perimeter holes to pop the wheel in place.Took about 45 minutes, next time might take 20.Ride is notabley smoother than my wore out tire!

I had to use a silicone lube, strength, and some enginuity to get these on the rim. I'm an experienced bike mechanic and wheel builder and this was a 10 out of 10 in terms of difficulty. There's no way you're going to get this tire on with tire levers. There's just not enough stretch in the tire. Here's how i did it.1. Get one edge seated in the rim and step on that section with the wheel flat against a hard surface. Let's call that 6 o'clock.2. Stick one screwdriver in the hole at approximately 10 o'clock and another 2 o'clock, then pull then outward, creating a gap large enough to slip the wheel onto the rim.3. Use your free foot, knee, or wife to push the tire onto the rim fully. It may not seat properly but with some twisting and tugging using a screwdriver in holes, you should be able to get it fully seated.That said, these wheels are faster even though they are noticably heavier. I attribute that to lower rolling resistance from a more domed profile than the stop pneumatic tires with my. Less of the tire makes contact with the road, basically.There is a slight shimmy and oscillating sound coming from the tires which i attribute to the tire/wheel not being balanced. It's not as important with pneumatic tires because they are lighter and have more "give" to dampen the vibrations. Because these tires are heavy and stiff, you'll notice more imperfections in the weight distribution of the tire/wheel assembly.Overall, though, i love these tires. They feel bomb-proof and i can cruise over gaps between sidewalk slabs heaved crooked by oak tree roots with confidence. They also have nominally more tread which i noticed going through grass. It seems to have a more positive grip.

These were a bit hard to install, but after watching a couple videos I finally succeeded. The ride is a bit rough, but that's only because the tires are solid rubber and not filled with air. Never have to worry about a flat tire again.

Very difficult to install. Many failed attempts. My neighbor has a machine at work that does it in 5 minutes. No boiling or microwave needed.

The tread is a lot better than the original tire treads. I believe it is a well molded, very solid tire. It did take some time to stretch the wheel on to the tire; even after boiling the tire (as other reviewers have recommended). As shown in the picture, I used safety ties to hold the wheel in place as I pried the rest of the wheel on.P.S. Since switching tires: The average speed has gone up from ~7 to ~15 mph, and ride has become a bit rougher (expected).

watch the youtube. You will need to warm these up in boiling water, then use special mount set, not those funny ones that come with the tires. Not difficult to install with right tool. Ride is stiff but good

These were hard as heck to put on,but worth it because we never have to worry about another flat tire
