Really does work!
I've regularly brushed our cocker spaniel's teeth with an electric toothbrush since she was a pup six years ago. Despite best efforts there's been a build up of plaque and general staining and yellowing.I thought this may be snake oil, but for under a tenner I thought I'd give it a go. The results are truly astonishing! Half a capful a day in her water and three weeks later her teeth are gleaming white and her breath, although mot too bad before is fresh. She doesn't seem to notice it in her water either.Strongly recommend this product which is quite miraculous.

Works.
Good value for money. My cat suffers with very bad breath and this stuff really helps. I put couple drops only in a bowl of water and makes a big difference. No smell or odours, no weird colours. No discomfort to the cat and is safe for them. Great alternative to try to clean teeth constantly.

Too soon to notice an improvement.
My springer drinks the water with this in without problem, however I can't really tell if its made a difference to his teeth.

TOXIC ingredients -- this isn't safe!
I bought this assuming it was fine for my two small cats as it is apparently recommended in America. When I tried it in their water, the smallest one vomited. So I checked the ingredients properly -- more fool me for not doing that before -- and found cetylpyridinium chloride. The active ingredient is an antiseptic, i.e. the stuff you use to spray clean tables. Exposure is dangerous for humans, so imagine what the effects are of daily drinking on a 2.8kg cat. All the advice online is that any pet product with this in MUST be avoided -- it damages your animal's cells (cytotoxicity) by rupturing their cell membranes and has a low lethal dose. I wish I had known this before I bought this product and had to tip it down the drain, but I am glad I found out before I started adding the recommended half capful to my pets' water bowl every day. Unbelievable this is being sold as a 'health product' without the relevant warnings.

Cannot beat the price
I purchased this specifically because it is endorsed by veterinarians and the price was unbelievable. I know a lot of people have reviewed this and said that it makes their dogs throw up, gives them diarrhea etc but I feel like those people aren't necessarily weaning their dogs onto this product which you really need to do. Just like food, you can't just change their food, you have to wean them. That said they have been taking this product in their water quite well for several weeks, but the past few days, one of my dogs has been pooping uncontrollably in the house, and throwing up a bit. She has a very sensitive tummy and I feel like maybe the full strength of this product might be too hard on her. It also may have nothing to do at all with it however we are going to stop using it briefly and see if that helps her stomach. I will try to remember to come back and update this. Additionally I cannot speak to how well it actually works. Again a lot of people rated this product quite low because of the fact that their dogs still has tartar. It's not designed to get rid of existing tartar it is designed to prevent more and since I haven't had the dogs to the vet since we bought this product, I can't really speak to whether or not it's preventing tartar buildup. We shall see!One final note for the reviewers who said that their dogs couldn't stand the smell of it or the taste of it, my dogs didn't even notice it. It doesn't have a smell and I know I don't have a dog's nose, but they didn't seem to care at all.

Seems to be helping!!
This is not going to replace proper tooth hygiene BUT it has seemed to help! My 11 old guy is way better. Have a 2 year old that doesn’t have as bad an issue but he is a sensitive Frenchie and he has not reacted to it. No odour at all. Neither dog noticed it!
