I've only ever previously used thin acrylic blocks for stamping. I've always found the flat blocks can be tricky to use (more than once I've lost my grip on a block and dropped it, stamp-side-down back onto my image, ruining it!) and can sometimes give unpredictable results.After some research, I found lots of people suggesting these blocks (and also the addition of a foam stamping mat or mousemat) to ensure better stamping outcomes. I've been using these blocks for a couple of months now and I'm really pleased with them - firstly, be careful of what size you need. This pack features 4 blocks of the following sizes: 1 x 1 inch, 1.5 x 6 inches, 3 x 4 inches, 4 x 6 inches. Each block is made of pink-tinted clear plastic which is ideal for lining up your stamping through.These are designed to be used with photopolymer (clear plastic stamps) or red rubber unmounted stamps. You can't use them with wood-mounted stamps (for obvious reasons!). To mount your desired stamp, dab some glue (I use tombow, but know others use pritt stick) on the block, and mount your stamp (try to get it on straight - there's a central square etched into the plastic to try and help you). Ink your stamp and apply pressure to the bottom of the block onto the paper. Rock once (north-south not east-west) before lifting. Hopefully, the result will be a well-stamped, clear image! You can them remove your stamp from the block for storage and the glue remains tacky enough to secure the stamp for next time!The actual motion of rocking the block does take some practice to get used to since it's so different from the old way of doing things. I'd recommend practicing on some scrap paper first, since if you repeatedly rock the block over the paper you end up with several images that aren't lined up. There are lots of youtube videos showing you exactly how to use these if you're not sure!My only complaint would be the lateral edges of the block have an unecessarily thick rim of plastic which frequently get accidentally inked. This ends up leaving a line around the edge of the stamped image - even after many uses, I still have to be really careful not to do this!Overall a good buy and worth the money. I'd recommend these to others that are struggling with the stamping!

Purchased as replacements after my full original set got lost in a recent move. Excellent product even my 6 and 2 year grandchildren can stamp perfect images with these no matter how much detail these little beauts will won't miss anything

Nice concept but be aware that if you are using these with clear stamps, they need to be of a certain thickness as the side curved edges which facilitate the rocking motion are quite high for some clear stamps. Thinner ones will not leave an impression. I managed to get mine to stick without adhesive but I've just tried small ones so far. Heavier ones would struggle to stay on. Having to use an adhesive every time I want to stamp is annoying. Not sure if it makes enough of a difference to justify having another set of blocks. Certainly can't replace my normal ones as I will still need them for the thinner stamps. Will probably just keep using my stamping platform.

I bought this as a gift however the packaging is damaged and the items inside are dirty. Clearly been used already.

Con estos bloques de estampar, puedes pasar dos veces por el mismo sitio y que quede con buen color el sello.; eso si, hay que tener cuidado para no moverlo de sitio. Con un poco de práctica, te salen a la perfección.

I love Crafters Companion products. These are an improvement over typical blocks.
