bareMinerals Bare Escentuals Good Hydrations Face Primer, silky, 1 Fl Oz

This is NOT the real product but a mock up. The consistency is thick, sticky, and smells strongly of chemicals. You'd be better off spending the extra few dollars that you save here and going to the store or bare minerals website to buy the real thing, because the difference is a stark contrast.

I'm really happy with this primer. I have bought many, many primers, and a lot of them just do nothing. I currently have been shopping for a more moisturizing one to wear under a couple of recent foundation purchases. The foundations are on the dryer, more matte side, and don't look the best on my skin. I want to be able to wear the foundations, they were not cheap and I do kind of like them. This really helps out a lot. It's not greasy, it wears well throughout the day and helps my skin stay hydrated. My foundation applies more smoothly. I think it helps slightly with longevity, but I find that most primers really don't contribute to the wear time of your foundation all that much. It doesn't seem to cause any irritation or breakouts. No annoying scent. I like it very well and would definitely repurchase it when I use this tube up.

So many primers make my mineral makeup and lotions bunch up and get all caked and weird. This one keeps my fave looking smooth without making my face feel deprived of moisture. Highly recommend. (I have tried most brands sold at sephora... this one is best... better than Mac, philosophy, urban decay, nars, Bobbi brown, other bare minerals, drug store brands, Lancôme... and on. This one is my favorite!

I love this primer so much better than their others. I love that it's in a tube. The ones in pumps always jam up. I like that it helps my skin looks a little more dewey. Normally bare minerals powder is pretty matte in appearance. With this primer it lasts all day and I only touch up if I blow my nose. Other than that it stays on all day.

I have very dry skin in places and oily skin in others, so I'm constantly battling both issues. This product feels like it hydrates and mattes, so I do like that. As far as a great primer? Not so much, the Prime Time primer is a lot better. I just didn't see my make up staying on any longer than without this primer.

Ive used their foundations and decided to try their wash and I’m glad I did! definitely seeing and feeling the benefits. my skin texture feels smoother. I use this once daily and trust me a very little squirt goes a long way. It lathers easily but not foamy or hard to get off. I expect to be using this product and brand for a long time

I have been using BareMinerals products for years. This primer works well, only takes a tiny bit to cover my entire face. It goes on well, evenly and helps when I apply my BareMinerals powdered foundation.

Great stuff. I wear it every day under the BE tinted moisturizer and it does not make my sensitive skin break out. My makeup stays put all day, too.

Nothing but another over hyped product by Bare Minerals. If you want something that minimises dry patches and helps powder lay better than stay away from this as it doesn’t do what it claims to do.I applied this over top of my well moisturised skin, let it dry down and applied bare minerals original foundation on top and it still looked dry as though I had applied no primer at all underneath, in fact it made my skin look even driver than it was before applying the primer.I’ll be trying his under liquid foundation as I’m not wasting an expensive product.Overall, don’t recommend, gives false claims and doesn’t do what it claims to do.EDIT: Updated review. I've tried this with liquid foundation and in my opinion... don't bother. As I was blending my foundation with a beauty blender, the primer was literally lifting off and peeling off and leaking white gunk on my sponge. I've used many primers and never had one perform so poorly as this one.

I bought this after a recommendation from a friend, but I must say I'm disappointed. It's very expensive, and it does a less good job than other primers. It's not coming on completely smooth, it "rolls" on the skin. So far my favorite primer is Infaillible from L'Oreal, I'll go back to buying that one that is far less expensive too.

The consitancy was fine and it went on ok. The issue was 4 hours later my foundation looked patchy and my pores were really on display. So for me it didn't last the distance on my 49 year old skin. And the foundation was what I always wear. My search continues.
