Q: Do you carry extensions for the slide?

When I first ordered this for my elderly Mom, I asked the same question. I was able to get hold of the regional salesperson, who told me that they were developing extension bars for the slide, but they weren't able to market them yet. (He said it would be a few more months, and this was back in August, I believe.) He said they would let me know when they would be ready for purchase. I haven't heard anything from the company, but we're doing ok with the size of the current slide on the chair. We are very happy with this purchase for my Mom. It makes helping her take a shower so much easier!!

Q: Do both buttons need to be pushed to make the seat slide? My husband can only use left hand

The right button allows the seat to slide to the left, and the left button allows the seat to slide to the right, but only one button at a time needs to be pushed in to allow the sliding. Our transfer bench works perfectly.
