A grower.
When I first tasted these, I wasn't really that impressed. I can't taste the marzipan that's supposed to be in it. But after sampling a couple more, I have now come to the conclusion that these are really very very nice. I really love the fact that they're not over sweet. Love In The Coconut. So I would suggest you give them a chance really.

I hope you have a good dentist....
Horrible. I bought these so-called "coconut and marzipan" treats because I like marzipan. There is absolutely no taste of marzipan whatsoever. The dominant taste is coconut, with an under-current of being ... old. Also, most teacakes I've ever eaten have been soft. These are absolutely rock-hard (like boiled sweets) and require extensive chewing to soften them. I stupidly bought 1kg. I reckon that several expensive trips to the dentist would be required before I got through the whole bag. I'd feed them to my aged dog, but unfortunately his teeth are already in worse condition than mine. Avoid.

Waste of money, sorry!
These ‘teacakes’ are not very pleasant. They’re so hard, they’re difficult to chew, and I actually like toffees but not these. Very little coconut flavour. There are some dried up bits that I’m guessing are the coconut element. The marzipan element is missing altogether. So I can’t recommend and wish I hadn’t bought them.
