I ordered the two inch thinking that the 'open topped' one supplied by NHS some years ago was a 4 inch, and believing that I could now cope with something not quite as awkward to use. Only time will prove whether this was a good or ad idea with my joints - however, comfort and joy. I could sing from the rooftops. So much better design to sit upon and not only that there is little chill factor (my other one filled me with dread in the middle of a frosty night). For clarification the lid is very flimsy in that you MUST not sit on it else you could go down the pan if you get my meaning. However if is of sufficient thickness to do its job as a lid. I am so glad that I splashed out to replace my 'freebie'. To recap, it's warmer to the skin on contact i.e. not icy cold, easy to fit, easy to clean. Even if the plastic 'screw' fitting breaks after a while, I still would not hesitate in buying another one because of all its advantages over seats without lids. Hygiene is so important (when you flush germs go into the air without a lid).

Its quite surprising what a difference a couple of inches extra seat height can make - my wife used to struggle to stand after using the toilet, but now its not an issue.Fitting could hardly be simpler (no tools required) and it stays in place securely - but now the seat base cannot be raised for use by gentlemen. Overall, well worth the sacrifice/inconvenience.

Very happy with the seat, I mounted it on the original seat with its lid removed, once attached I can still lift the seat for myself and it's always nice and clean for the lady of the house.I would thoroughly recommend.

I previously had the "DRIVE" branded raised loo seat. However, after ordering this Homectaft Savanna branded version for my elderly mother I found this design to be more sculpted and much more comfortable. So I ordered one for myself.... Yes it really is much more comfortable. The reasons are that this seat is more curved and sculpted and slightly slopes forward. This makes it more comfy to sit on and much easier to mount and dismount.The "DRIVE" raised seat has no incline and is virtually flat with no sculpting and curves and is quite ugly in comparison!So, this Homectaft Savanna raised loo seat is not only more comfortable but looks nicer too 😃✴️✴️✴️✴️✴️

Has no problem supporting my weight. (325 lbs) Stays put, doesn't slide around. Does what it is supposed to do.

After having a total knee replacement I purchased three different raised toilets seats. The first two were so uncomfortable it was impossible to “go” to the bathroom. Then my husband found this one and I am very pleased with it. Very easy to install. No tools needed. It took less than a minute to attach it.

Ce modèle est vraiment très ingénieux.Installation est super facile avec deux accroches sur les côtés, et donc facile à enlever pour l'entretien.Le plus un couvercle lui aussi très facile à mettre en place.Acheté pour rehausser un WC trop bas, avec ces 5 cm il convient et s'adapte parfaitement et il est bien plus esthétique qu'un rehausseur normal.
