Intex -Inflatable bed Twin Elevated single

This is a really great product! Nothing like the old airbeds. Very comfortable.* Firstly, it is a good height off the ground, similar to that of a normal bed, so no getting down onto the floor or having to pull yourself up from a low position.* Secondly, it is wider than a standard single bed, and has slightly raised edges, so you have space to turn over without rolling off.* Thirdly, it couldn't be any easier to inflate and deflate. Just plug it in to a normal socket, flick the switch and stand back and watch. In just over 2 minutes it is fully inflated. Similarly, when deflating, first open the main valve and allow most of the air to escape, then close the valve and flick the switch to suck out every last scrap of air.* Finally, it all folds away into a very useful bag, which has comfortable straps to sling over your shoulder.I bought one for ourselves about four years ago, as a spare bed for visitors and to take visiting. We have been so pleased with it that we recently bought another one for our daughter's flat. Both beds have been very well used.

Brilliant item, inflates easily using internal pump, large sleeping area. Due to the height of the bed it’s easy to get you up. Deflates as efficiently as it inflates using the pump. Handy carry bag included

My Intex 64412 Plush Elevated air bed WAS very comfortable. However, in spite of carefully following instructions to deflate and fold up, it lasted less than one month! When it arrived it was not properly folded but stuffed into the box - I wonder if that is the reason it is faulty. I am very disappointed, especially as the write-up indicates it is very strong and durable.One week after this review, the Distributor agreed to replace the air-bed. I received a replacement within a few days. This time it was properly folded and packed. I am very impressed with the service, courtesy and speed that the air bed was delivered.

Well what can I say. It works really really well. Blows up in about 2 min. Is comfy. Firm. High perfect for me as I'm disabled. Wonderful. Then you can electrically deflate it also which is great. Has a handy bag for storage. You can also use it with a manual pump should the need arise. So good for camping.

I used mine for 4 nights and it was perfect. I very carefully stored it, taking great care not to crease the material more than could be helped. Stored it in dark dry place for 2 years. Got it again and inflated it, no problem, but my guest spent the night on the floor. There are no holes in the fabric. It seems to be leaking round the power unit.I just contacted amazon and they have just referred me back to the help pages and given me a link to my statutary rights.

Firstly. Very important. IT DOESNT COME WITH A 3 PIN PLUG. YOU WILL NEED A SHAVER ADAPTOR PLUG OR TRAVEL PLUG TO POWER THIS! Don't get caught short without one when you need to inflate the bed. I have had three beds from this company. The first two had UK plugs, this one didn't. Strange. Also, when I started to inflate the bed, the motor in the pump cut out twice for no reason. They started when I cycled the on off switch, but this didn't fill me with confidence, to say the least. A flaw in all these beds is that there is no indication of when the optimum inflation level has been reached so you play that by ear. As I'm lying on the bed it seems to be trying to dump me off the side! Not much support at the edge, the other design I bought from intex was £10 more expensive but felt more solid. That said, the first bed lists it's shape after 5 months and turned into a wedge that was impossible to lie down on. The second of the same design lasted three months before I woke up on the floor as it developed a puncture overnight! On closer inspection, the puncture turned out to be a split in a seam that was impossible to repair. When the first two beds worked they were incredibly comfortable..... Till they stop working! At the moment I'm in need of a 'stopgap' bed till I have sourced a new bed and this inflatable is better than sleeping on the floor or the couch. But if using this continuously, it will have a short lifespan. It's like 'hiring' a bed. If you pay £50 and get 5 months use out of it that's like £2.50 a week - reasonable price to pay for me. In short, these beds are good, but not great. I'd say the weakness to Intex beds are they don't hold shape in the long run and the seams seem to be a weak spot in their design/manufacture! Ironically, if I wanted a short term guest bed to use as a guest bed, I don't think I'd buy an inflatable one, I'd get a folding one - no nasty surprises from those, I think? I think the design needs work (inflation gauge and auto cutoff?), and better materials so that they would feel sturdier.

thank god you can choose to blow this up manually because after 1 year of use now and then, the motor that blows the matrass up heats up constantly

Uitstekend als campingbed en logeerbed voor kleine appartementen.

Ich hatte das Glück die Matratze auch 30 Prozent verbilligt zu bekommen, was aber auch bei vollem Preis nicht umsonst gewesen wäre! Ruckzuck aufgeblasen und man liegt super! Verarbeitung toll! Kann ich nur wärmstens empfehlen!
