Sleep & Beyond is the largest wool grower and processor which is paying fair wages to their farmers, making sure timely veterinary practices take place, sheep graze in the proportionally divided areas without overgrazing. They don't perform mulesing, a common practice in Australia cutting tail to stop fly infection. They give a haircut to Merinos once a year, usually summer time, between June - August. Sheep look fresh and their wool is ready to sleep on.

Virgin wool refers to the fact that the wool is from the first shearing of the sheep, and has not been spun, processed or used before, it's literally virgin wool.
