Not for young children
These metal earth kits are great when done I have hsde three starwars models . Made of laser cut tin the details on the parts are good .You will need tweezers small snips good eyes or magnifying glass and a steady hand. Parts are small and the tabs that you have insert into slots to attach each part very small . Worth tho when done . Oh and a lot patients.

A real challenge, but worth the effort.
This was the second Metal Earth kit I constructed, after the Imperial Star Destroyer. I found this kit to be a lot harder to build, but the end result was extremely satisfying.Like the Star Destroyer, the pieces come in two sheets, along with a very clear and concise set of instructions. There are a lot more curves to be formed in this kit, which always seem to provide the greatest challenge and most frustration. However, the kit was of superb quality, and the stainless steel pieces never felt too fragile and I carefully manipulated them into position each time. With a lot of patience, I managed to overcome each of the most challenging stages, and it left me with an end result that I was delighted with. The total build took me about two hours. and I ended up with a very sturdy and visually pleasing model. This definitely comes recommended, and I'll be buying more in the future. One note of caution, I have had disappointment with another model in a different Metal Earth range - the Normandy SR2 from the Mass Effect line. I found a significant contrast in design and quality compared to the Star Wars models I have constructed so far. Whether that exists across the range is something I will have to wait and see.

Great kit with some frustrations
Great little kit that took an hour or two to put together. This was my first Metal Earth model, and it was pretty straightforward. Instructions were mostly clear but I had some issues with the central cockpit section. Just because of the shape it's incredibly fiddly and hard to get perfect.Definitely recommend, just, bring a modicum of patience with you...and some good tweezers!

You need baby yoda sized hands.
Instructions could be better. Some parts extremely small, can't help but feel if this was scaled up just a bit it would make for a far easier build. Quite tricky to line up when piecing together and metal is quite malleable which makes a challenge not to bend or damage what you have already put together.Does look good when together though, albeit my finished result isn't the neatest.

I love these models
I love these models, but you do need about 2 hours, patience, steady hands that can cope with a lot of fiddly bits, decent tweezers to bend the parts and very good near eyesight. I've made three of these models, but this one is the first where I reached a point where I couldn't work out how to reach my tweezers inside a part I'd made to bend tabs to secure a different part. Possibly I attached two parts in the wrong order slightly. The rounded bits need a lot of coaxing into place too. If you're frustrated easily, steer clear as you'll end up breaking it in annoyance, but they do look nice when they're done.

Very cool - but be careful
This is a delightful model to make - but make sure that you are VERY careful when bending the metal, especially along the dotted lines - a couple of bends and the metal will break apart. It's very fragile.I'd also say that I'm lucky that I have small hands - I'd truly admire someone with big chunky hands putting this together as the pieces are pretty tiny!

Fiddly
Christmas pretty. Greatly received. Is a bit fiddly with small parts which are hard to put into place

I recommend an easier one to try first
Bought this for my husband and it's much smaller than expected. The directions are not clear so please go on YouTube first to see how to remove and assemble. Pieces are small and fiddly if you mess up you can't do anything about it. I recommend an easier one to try first.
